     willa never thought of herself to be fit to take care of a child, and intended on spending the rest of her life doing so to focus on her career. yet, the moment joshua had passed, he left his young daughter in willa’s care with no other explanation other than she was the only one he could trust. she had to stop everything - tour, recordings, fanmeets. she despised him for being so careless in the way he got himself into fatal danger that he had just thrown his innocent child onto someone that wasn’t even related to her. yet, she liked sophia. and she was a good guardian to her no matter what willa believed about herself. rumors came around with awkward stares when willa started taking her to school. no one had expected sophia’s mother to be an inked out, wild rockstar when joshua was so prim and proper ( to them, at least. ). yet, sophia didn’t care. that was all that had mattered to her, was that she was happy, and she seemed to have a good friend at school that she could depend on. sophia’s friend and her mother were at their house late in the night for a sleepover that sophia had been insistent on having, and it hadn’t taken long for the kids to use up all their energy and fall asleep.  she sits down on the couch in the quiet evening next to soyul. - ridiculously beautiful, she’s one of the only parents who isn’t too horrible with her. willa sets down a bottle of soju on the coffee table.  “  oh, uh. do you drink ? if not, that’s okay. i just...  thought, you know, why not.  “  an awkward chuckle as willa runs fingers through her hair.  “  i’m, uh, still trying to get used to the whole parenting thing.  “

  she knows its probably cliche to be doing this when she could simply text narae that she had returned. but, will wanted to be romantic. she’s at the house she remembers being at, and has been throwing rocks for the past two minutes at the second story window until the light turns on. “ narae !  “  she yells for the fifth time, the sudden brightness making her hopeful. but, someone completely different peaks their head out with quite the understandable scowl on their face.  she’s about to walk away, cheeks red with embarrassment, when she’s met with a figure as soon as she turns around that she nearly instinctively socks in the face with the rest of the rocks she picked from the ground. it takes her a second to realize who it is through the dark neighborhood, and a late reaction has her exclaiming, “  narae ! i’ve been looking for you !  “
