some notes:

Phryne was adopted by Prudence when Prudence, a Mourn Watch necromancer, found her in the tombs of the Necropolis.

Prudence's husband, a dwarf named Remauld, died in a mine collapse before Phryne was found. He used to say that if he and Prudence ever had a daughter, he'd like to name her Phryne, so Prudence used that name to honor her late husband.

Remauld came from Orzammar but lost his caste when he came to the surface to pursue Prudence. He has no regrets, and took Prudence's name when they married.

Phryne spent a year away from Nevarra after she and her mother had a fight. She ended up joining a mercenary company, which is where she met Corbin Vogel. At first taken in by his charm and handsomeness, the relationship ended in disaster when Phryne fell pregnant. When Corbin was told, he left her the very next morning.

Phryne's kids used to ask about their father, and Phryne didn't lie to them. So they never had positive opinions of him, either.

(I imagine Phryne runs into Corbin years later, during or after the events of Veilguard, and he's unrepentant about abandoning her. She probably breaks his arm and then goes back to pretending he's dead. Emmrich will have words with him if he continues to bother his wife. >w>)

Mianna and Elke were both necromancers in the same class (taught by Professor Emmrich Volkarin). Elke introduced Mianna to her brother, Rothe.

Mianna's maiden name is Ackerfeld.

Mianna passed away first, when Malavai was around three years old. Rothe died a few years later, in the Arbor Wilds while serving the Inquisition. Malavai was subsequently raised by his aunt and grandmother.

I'm still not sure if Halig is canon or not to my worldstate, but I love how he came out, so he's here. There's an age difference of almost 40 years between him and his half-sister Elke, and 16 years between him and his nephew Malavai.

Halig and Manfred refer to each other as brothers. Halig spends the first ten years of his life legitimately believing they're related by blood and wondering when his bones are going to start showing.

Honorable mention to Melchior, Phryne's childhood pet rat that was resurrected by a wisp and is still kept by the family to this very day. He would've been on the tree, but I was already having a hard time with formatting this. Pretend he's hiding in Phryne's hair.
