BRIEF DESCRIPTION: james was a charismatic outcast, teenage dirtbag type in high school (think eddie munson meets steven hyde), and I like to think this muse was more of the bookish good girl type or the popular girl type (nancy wheeler/chrissy cunningham meets jackie burkhart type), but this is pretty open tbh, just ideally someone from a different clique/aesthetic than james. while james is from new york, I have it set in her backstory that she went to stay with her mom during the school year, so you're free to pick the state backdrop that fits your muse best for their high school years! basically, they fell in love (could have been traditional love story, opposites attract, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, we can plot it out!), were starting to settle down right out of high school on cornelia, but james was feeling stifled and restless by how rooted they were becoming so quickly, and ended up sabotaging their relationship with an affair. she considers this to be the Worst thing she's ever done, and is filled with a lot of conflicting feelings about it because at the end of the day, this muse was her best friend, her first love, and one of the most important people in her life, and she has always hated the way she hurt them.
