The Coalition of Super Children

Within my version of events starting from when the new kid (Danny Saelim) moved to South Park to about the time the kids were 12/13, stuff about Danny’s past starts to unfurl. Namely in the form of these kids coming into the picture.

They’re more or less the Anti-Freedom Pals created by Disney for the soul purpose to regain control of property they technically let go of 13 years prior. Mickey revived a long since dormant project and created the Coalition. He also had convinced someone make a machine to help speed up the process of aging the new ones to the correct age which gave the bulk of the team some not so good side effects.

They’re all more or less parallels of each of the South Park kids with hero personas, but with actual powers. They share some traits, that being amplified versions of the worst traits the South Park tweens posses, although two of them (Percy and Caleb) have shown that they can in fact have personalities of their own if given ample time to grow and develop.

They’re divided into 3 groups among themselves: The Golden 5, The Middle Children, and The Youngest.

The Golden Five are the 5 tweens who are seen the most outside of the base. The favorites. The ones that the company uses for PR purposes to ‘look good’ because they know how to put on a mask for the adults.

The Middle Children want to stand out, but there’s plenty on infighting between them in order to earn praise and recognition from the adults in their lives.

The Youngest get picked on via the pecking order, but they’re more or less left to their own devices more often than not given there’s just two of them. But somehow it seems like they get praise for doing absolutely nothing.

Non mi ricordo più com'è non essere in costante lotta con il cibo, con il mio corpo.

Com'è fare tre pasti salutari? Com'è non dover pensare "ho già mangiato a pranzo non posso mangiare a cena" o vice versa?

Com'è non voler mangiare dopo una certa perché poi le calorie assunte non si bruciano e rimangono lì?

Com'è stare in pace con se stessi? Guardarsi allo specchio e piacersi?

Com'è tutto questo?

Non me lo ricordo.

So solo che col cibo è una lotta costante. Con la mente è una lotta costante. Con lo stomaco che ha fame, ma il tuo cervello non vuole mangiare.

Com'è piacersi?

Non lo so... So che devo vedere i numeri sulla bilancia scendere per poter star bene con me stessa... Perché se mi guardo e vedo lo spazio fra le cosce sto bene, mi sento più leggera.

Com'è vivere con i tuoi genitori che ti dicono costantemente "devi mangiare" "hai mangiato solo questo?"

Com'è guardare il proprio corpo senza schifarlo?

Non lo so.

Non mi ricordo.

So che sono stanca e vorrei fare a modo mio. Ma se lo facessi deluderei tutti gli altri e li farei preoccupare perché... Chi lo sa che una volta iniziato non arrivo a cosa più gravi?
