How do they expect you to get job experience if they won’t give you the job? Like- they can’t train you after they hire you? You already have to go through training and rules, so can’t that be how you get experience??

#I get it if it’s a doctor or rocket scientist they want to make sure they’re hiring someone who knows what to do #but a craft store??#why is it so hard #costumer service is extremely draining- but I shouldn’t need ten plus years of experience to work a cash register #“Nobody wants to work” Buddy we are trying. Just give us a chance #growing up it was “you have to go to college to be happy”. Now it’s “you have to go learn a trade”. Both put you in debt. Both nowadays lea #to the same exact cash register I could’ve worked at without putting myself in debt.#all for seven dollars an hour.#Y’know my grandma is seventy five and she’s only been retired for fifteen years. She worked a suck ass job that albeit has great retirement #but at what cost? She wasn’t there while my mom was growing up. She wasted most of her life at a desk. She hadn’t been out of state until #six years ago. So yeah she can do those things now. But she should’ve been able to back then.#people should retire in their thirties. I am slowly watching my parents kill themselves for other people who don’t care.#also the fact that people in costumer service seem so genuinely surprised when you’re nice to them???
