i vaguely know who william becket is cause the song ryan was featured on can i have recap on things hes done?

omg shit ok. im about to write you a tiny lj primer here.

so basically this is william beckett, he was the singer for a band called “the academy is...”

as u can see hes very tall and skinny and pretty. SO the academy is was a band out of the chicago scene and very close with fall out boy!!! so when pete made his label they got signed to decaydance/fbr and the rest is history.

they were close with both cobra starship (gabe) and gym class heroes (travie) and together they were all extremely tall and pretty. and i think thats special

if u go back and read fic from the time ull find a lot of gabilliam... and other members of the academy is (sisky, the butcher, mike carden, etc) will appear in fics too (like throam). also if u watch cobra cam (AND YOU SHOULD) william pops up in it a lot (and they had their own webseries called tai.tv)

tai released a couple fun albums and despite not getting that big compared to the rest of decaydance i love them very much. and then they broke up in 2011 and that was sad. and then i think william teamed up with other (cough ousted cough) former fbr people like ryan to make songs for a bit
