i don’t know what prompted my skin tint journey but i tested the hourglass one today and omg !!!!! there’s barely any texture after a whole day of work and i’m still pretty matte yay!! (i have combo skin)
#i love love love medium to full coverage so i never thought i’d be using a skin tint#but relying on my two concealers for coverage has been turning out pretty well#like you can still achieve the look of a full face with less products on your face#and i can save my nars foundation for going out instead of boooooooo work#my acne has been much more manageable these days so i do gotta thank my skin for being less stubborn#chitchatting ᵔᴗᵔ

tweaking over cushion foundation right now we really are in difficult times
#LISTEN i haven't had a good color match in so long but it's in one of these FUCK ASS CUSHIONS#I'm going to sound insane to anyone who doesn't watch too much asian makeup videos but the cushions make me so crazy j get so paranoid about#the foundation going bad. okay. like i keep thinking christ this is going to have so much bacteria it will break me out and i will DIE#and ok i'm ashy as fuck and apparently significantly pale by american/national makeup standards.#it's not like i Can't get a match at all most companies have my shade or something close#EXCEPT. they're all like 200+ bucks#AND STILL LOOK KINDA YELLOW ON ME#i have found such a Good match blind buying literally just whatever foundation was medium coverage and affordablr but it takes like a month#to arrive.#and idfk if i commited User Erros because i've had it for uhh. maybe a month and some. and i use a little almost everyday#and Ok. i'm being crazy but it was starting to feel kinda dry and weird and i'm so upset Alright maybe i did get emotionally attached to#a foundation. i will not pull the oo i'm just a girl card because i hate it i'm admitting how fucking insane it is.#And i'm lowkey scared of taking out the sponge and trying to flip it because Bacteria.

nobody wants to hear it but the trick to getting airbrushed skin when you're wearing foundation really is just to put a fuckton of it on
#2 layers of full coverage matte foundation and another layer of concealer and then a layer of setting powder. pores literally vanished#would not recommend doing this if you have dry skin. im very oily
