A wee tasting of whiskies with the ever charming Georgie Bell (@belleswhisky). . Dewars 15YO: Made for Asian market, fruity, easy drinking blend. . Aberfeldy 12YO: very honey on nose and palate, with more nuttiness coming though later on. Easy starter dram. . Aultmore 12YO: Quite a surprising dram, a grassy, herbal sweetness on the nose that carries through to the palate, and a very pleasant minty note as well. Surprisingly good dram. . I'm so happy that today's Advent Calendar dram is an amazing one! It is the Dark Treacle Fondant 2002 Cragellachie 2014 12 yo

Colour: Amber, about a medium, not too dark or too light

Nose: Raisins, Toffee, Nutmeg, Pepper

Taste: Raisins, dates, more toffee, nutmeg, and pepper

Finish: spicy and fruity doesn't last too long

Overall: I liked this, a great sipping whisky that I could share with my dad, he is pretty particular on his single malts.
