I see you already figured out the link thing but here is the answer in case anyone else is wondering: I think you can only add links in the web version. On your blog you go to edit appearance, where you can customize your theme. Under appearance options you can edit your description. For a link you have to include this html code:

<a href="https://URLofyourLink">link text</a>

save and you’re done!
