Part 1 🌹

Acknowledgement and appreciation for stelliseventsph

It was a hot summer day but the love and warmth of the cheering and love of the fans of Tears of Themis and our birthday boy, Artem, was enough to forget the discomfort of the summer season.

Thank you so much for @stelliseventsph for always hosting the loveliest CSEs. From the location, to the program, and of course, for inviting so many wonderful artists for the merchandise for the event!

I'll always be thankful for Kat, one of the organizers, who contacted me through twitter if I would like to contribute for the merchandise. I was sooooo overjoyed and happy as enjoying cute things and creating ultra girly designs for otome is something I had to hide for a long time because of societal norms and because of other traumas caused by past people I knew. I feel more confident in creating illustrations and design and am more in touch with my feminine side because of this.

Part 2 🌹

The pocket mirror for the Duke's only love

I was contacted to design a pocket mirror for the event and oh.my.god how I was ecstatic and locked in to design the pocket mirror for Artem's birthday ! The idea was to create a design that not only makes use of the space of a roughly 3" pocket mirror. The round design is flexible and I decided to create an emblem looking design.

For some reason, it looked reminiscent to a certain popular Chinese makeup brand and honestly? It was part of my mood board, but I was also into researching and watching a lot of information regarding Fabergé eggs at the time I was contacted and also those really pretty East Asian makeup brands like Majolica Majorca, the old packaging of Etude House, especially the ballet and Antoinette collection ( bring them back !! ) and of course, Flower Knows.

I am so happy as well with the outcome upon receiving the CSE Kit ! The pocket mirror came out so well and I love everyone's work ! Everyone did such a good job that I'm so happy to be a part of this CSE ( and future stelliseventsph events as well, perhaps? 🥺 ) I want to get a new pegboard so bad so I can display everyone's work above my bed so I can gaze upon everyone's works and remember the fun and the fellow fans, artists, and organizers I have met. 🌹

Part 3 🌹

D-DAY, meeting friends, the organizers, and fellow fans

It was so nice meeting everyone again after so long ! All those 3 months of preparation, progress, and waiting for the day was so worth it. Past me would say 'I could've done or said more' but the me now is just thankful and happy that I am able to see and talk to my friends again even for a short time. I learned to treasure every moment and being present to see everyone's fruit of labor come into fruition and enjoy the event is always a delight. Everyone needs a break and seeing people's happy smiles and interacting is a sight to see.

Fifty Nine Flower cafe was such a lovely place and stelliseventsph is so right to choose this place for our dear Artem's birthday. I was not able to take a lot of photos but believe me when I say the place is beautiful and so aesthetic. The staffs are also incredibly approachable that they made the event event more comfortable to be ourselves! If the organizers will be choosing Fifty Nine again for their future CSEs, count me in and I'll take more photos next time !

There was also a middle area where artists can do their stamp rally and also dine, it was a bit odd as it's a mix of al fresco but enclosed?? When the sun hits hard it gets hot but it got colder as the day went on so no complaints from that at all !

And the food.... The Food. It was so worth it.

I ordered:

Yummyyy, feat. my son Scara and husband, Vyn

The cannelloni was a winner for me, I have never ordered one before with fresh spinach and it even overflows with it! These are one of the dishes I've tried at a cafe in the metro where I could say that the food are actual homemade food. The melon as well I am happy to announce that the cafe used real and pure Melon ( hurrah for real fruits in Manila ). Later on, sweets came to mind and tried their crepes.

I didn't realize that my phone camera focused on my plushie more than the food *cries*

I wanted try their Butterscotch Apple Cinnamon but it was already sold out by the time I ordered, given that it was almost at the end of the event. The Rose in the name threw me off a little, fearing that I might taste more of the strong Rose flavor. Pleasantly, they have made a pureed recipe that incorporated the Rose flavor to the cream inside the crepe so well and I enjoyed my dessert. I hope I took more photos of this dessert, though !

There has never been a more welcoming, accepting and loveliest community I have ever experienced being with. If I have not gone to my first CSE, also hosted by stelliseventsph, for Vyn's birthday in 2023, I might not have met all of the artists, new and familiar faces, and a growing but solid community of passionate fans who are not afraid to express their love for a character that gave them such impact in their lives. I love how I also slowly became more open to opportunities because I went out of my comfort zone and have met so many amazing people and experienced things I might not have if I did not step out of my bubble.

Thank you so much, Kat, for contacting me through twitter and for Dani telling me during event that she introduced to the core team that my work being a good fit for their Artem CSE. I gradually became more confident in my art in this warm space of dedicated fans and I would be more than happy to contribute more to your events.

Hello

I mainly just post whatever I find interesting, some serious some are not. Basically a record of my life for anyone to view if they so happen to stumble upon this online collection of mine.

Here's a little guide on navigating the contents:

#ph.tgs

- Photography. Almost, if not all, will have photos attached to each post. This is just a general all rounder tag.

#md.nghts

- Midnight / night / daily rambles. It means what it says, just any ramblings I might have that night / day / any time of the day. Might be cringe but who cares.

#tr.vl

- Travels. Basically the same, or more or less a combination of the photography or rambles tag. Used for out of the country travels, or local if it's far away from where I reside.

#cn.vtion & #cse.l

- Convention posts. Similar to the tr.vl tag but more on convention photos and stuff. Will mostly be used together with the tr.vl tag. The tag cse.l stands for CSE ( Cupsleeve Events Local ). Mostly otome CSEs.

#rt.e

- Art. I have a separate art account but art posted here are mostly personal ones or progress pieces which are not in-line with my artist accounts.
