Do you think ctron is a short loser a medium boy or a tall freak thanks

Important question. There are many crosscode height scholars who have come before me and done pixel by pixel analysis to determine everybodys height in feet and inches but lets not worry about that. we only need to figure out if he is short or tall. so for simplicitys sake lets base this off the portrait sprites bc that is where the height differences are most visually evident.

We dont have super concrete information about anybodys height except lea who is canonically, textually Short. Emilie looks to only be a little bit taller than lea. As for c'tron his stupid fucking hair may throw you off at first but if we measure his and emilies hairlines they seem to actually be almost exactly the same height.

Conclusion: He's Smalled

however we can take this further. to be truly fair i think we should compare him to the rest of the first scholars

measuring by the same standard, lukas and albert are significantly taller than him while hlin and buggy are juuuuuust barely taller by like a pixel or 2. nonetheless making him the shortest in this lineup.

*or medium. I guess in the end it really depends on how much taller c'tron and emilie actually are compared to lea. Anyway, what i feel to be true in my heart is that he is medium-short, but it doesnt really matter because i often end up drawing him taller by accident anyway.

Yeah this height difference is pretty funny. i love how nonthreatening everything about him is in comparison. imagine being shizuka and your evil murderous boss from hell reincarnates as a short king and everybody loves him and wants to keep him around because of his sweet and polite demeanor. id want to beat the shit out of him too

Ok yea i will elaborate a bit on the Normal Pentafist. huge spoilers for crosscode dlc as usual

Yeah so i just couldnt get over the sheer Quantity of sidwell clones and wanted to play with ideas of how differently they might have turned out from each other. so i picked This Thing as my guinea pig

here she is in the clone room flanked by tobys. And if you will please refer to this important chart...

i think the Prime Directive for the sidwell evotars was to be really good at social camouflage and to essentially play a character that would make it as easy as possible to influence and glean information from the people they were spying on. As some of you may already be aware from my Many Paragraphs of writing on the subject i think ctron is, in fact, not very good at this a lot of the time. he cant help but be enthusiastic and sincere about his interests, which leads to him having genuine and positive interactions with the people hes supposed to be spying on, which allows him to get attached to them, and so on.

Soo to contrast with that, my vision for this unnamed pentafist is that she was Extremely Good at her job, was very effective at appearing friendly and approachable and integrating herself into various groups of people to spy on, but absolutely none of it was sincere in any way so she didnt get close to anybody. I think she still might have tried to fight against her situation in her own way, but instead of being motivated by The Power Of Friendship to find a loophole that would let her survive, she wouldve done something more along the lines of like. trying to extort a group of hackers to transfer her onto a modded server. It probably didnt work out for her; she probably got deleted like the others. but ive been having fun rotating her in my mind :3

i may have to decide on a way to keep her alive just to make her interact with tronny because of how fun i think that would be. her swag may be unstoppable.

I an height anon and I agree with your post about heights

It was always a personal headcanon that emilie was the tallest out of the neurodivergent brothers with lea as the shortest but Ctron being in-between but closer to emilie in height (random but I do think shizuka is somehow taller than all of them)

Nods wisely...this all makes sense. it does make sense for emilie to be the tallest tbh. However, for whatever reason i interpreted emilie as being very short when i first played the game (even after seeing her and leas sprites next to each other...?) and this perception has stuck with me no matter how hard i try to shake it off. so my early crosscode art has her being way shorter than lea. Embarrassing .......... an amateurs mistake............

I do love the idea of shizuka somehow being taller than lea. theres a lot of ways this could happen but im just imagining satoshi inputting a variable wrong or whatwver while copying shizukas avatar data and it makes lea like a foot shorter than shes supposed to be. And hes just like Yeah close enough.
