i was thinking about various fanon & deaged stuff and y'know i think a lot of (at least my personal) dislikes and pet peeves when it comes to portraying kids in fiction and fanworks it boils down to two simultaneously true statements:

x age is not near as old as one would think it is

at the same time, x age is definitely not as young as one would think
