Artist: Chase Baby
Album: Dissociation Ep
Tumblr media
The early 2000s saw the appropriation of the phrase mixtape to refer to free works released by hip hop artists over other artists beats. That trend seemed to die with the 2009 release of Lil Wayne’s “No Ceilings”. The trend of releasing music nonstop in order to keep ones self relevant to fans became the new normal. The effort it takes to release back to back Long Play (LP)s is astronomical and possibly beyond the ease of artists that entirely fund themselves. The popularity of the EP emerged not from laziness, but from necessity. Give the fans 2-7 songs to ruminate on while you work on the long project. It’s marketing at its best.
Enter Champaign, Illinois artist Chase Baby. A lyrical dynamo, Chase Baby (govt name Chase Scott). This blog knows very little about this artist at time of publication. All that matters is the music. As far as that goes Chase Baby is spectacular.
“See the truth of the matter is you have no idea what you are up against” begins the first track “murder” The electronic piano grabs the listener from the start and a drumroll precedes Chase who steps right into the track with a an easily understandable flow that begs to be rewinded over and over again. Chase goes easily between street references to drugs and partying to political references to Donald Trump. Chase references the trend of modern rappers and substance abuse by saying, “No rush to give up substance abuse, huh? You’re such a clutz. Stumbling over your words because you’re too fucked up”. Powerful.
Tumblr media
“Lifelines” finds Chase on a rock inspired snare and cymbal driven beat that causes uncontrollable head bobbing. He flexes his versatility by using a rapid fire staccato flow interspersed with his normal, again easily understood flow. “I ain’t lucky I’m a leper that floats over pressure, using musicfor a mask so you couldn’t see the effort”. Wow. The metaphor and simile continues with featured artist AMS about whom nothing is known at this time. Inflecting a flow reminiscent of the mid 90s lo-fi type.
The EP moves along quickly to “sleep paralysis” the music reminds this blogger of electronic group Gorillaz. Chase rhymes his raucous yet effortless flow over a track about a metaphoric cabin fever he finds himself in. The story unfolds as he paints a picture of an insomniac that has racing thoughts about attempting to escape mediocrity. “Anxiety gone drive me crazy, and depression gonna kill me” he raps bringing the listener right into the track.
In the end a slow guitar and cryptic harmonica take that listener into a dark place while Chase spits what on the surface is a horror core style flow. However nothing could be further from the truth. “Turn The Page” has Chase again in an introspective mode offering his options on the game with such lines as “The naive bob and weave, are the intelligent cursed?” And “Birds of a feather try to copy me, apparently they parakeets”
In summation Dissociation EP is a straight banger. This blogger has heard it in its entirety more than 15 times. Chase refuses to bow to the lean flow that is so popular with this generation. He is unapologetic about his skills and makes no excuses for his brash and honest delivery. This publication gives Dissociation EP its highest award 3 out of 3 💯 emojis. Chase Baby is a rising star and this blog anxiously awaits his next project. 💯💯💯

REPLY IMA WAKE 2 IMA WAKE 2 1 day ago "Most hard core liberals have psychologically deprived backgrounds which causes them to invoke defense mechanisms which causes them to seek power over others and develop a “wounded” world view which causes them to express the depths of their psychologically damaged personality."
"Liberals are exercising power over others that have achieved legitimate success and they are trying to get the achievers of society to pay for these often phony liberal causes.  This gives the liberal a sense of entitlement to act out against the successful among us and take what is not theirs. This helps to restore feelings of power to the liberal that they lacked in their deprived childhoods which are typically characterized by neglect."
"In the deprived psychological environment that characterizes so many liberals, they are typically angry at the world. And they often seek to inflict pain on the successful because they are angry. This defense mechanism is called displacement. They just don’t want to dominate the political narrative, they seek to inflict pain on a personal level to those who have experienced success. This is what fundamentally causes liberals to lack respect for the rule of law and just old-fashioned human decency. They seek to hurt successful people and to tear down the pillars of society."
"The left uses their self-contrived and often invented self-indignation as the excuse to justify inflicting pain on others. Rationalization is defined as making excuses to justify one’s actions. This is also the well-spring of almost all genocide, both past and present in a “they deserved it mentality."
"There is a final defense mechanism that liberals often employ. Because of their psychologically deprived background, we frequently see use of the defense mechanism called overcompensation. This is where an individual will perceive some personal deficiency (eg lack of academic success) and then seek to excel in another area (eg athletic prowess). In the case of a mentally ill liberal, their lack of personal success and acceptance from their peers, in their collective childhoods, leads them to excel in other areas, namely, liberal causes which frequently inflicts pain on successful people."
"Liberals are largely representative of people who have been psychologically wounded by life and they spend their adult life getting back at the very power structure that they blame for their psychological pain as a result of their own personal shortcomings.
Why do liberals not respect the sanctity of life (eg late-term abortions)? Their psychological pain keeps them from feeling empathy by the youngest members of our society as they are torn apart limb by limb for their body parts. Do I need to point out the reaction formation of liberal females who are overcompensating for their perceived personal rejection. Beautiful women come in all shapes and sizes and I don’t typically promote stereotypes, but ask a non-liberal male about the appearance of many liberal females. Many times, it borders on bizarre. The same can be said for the emasculated males who grew up expecting trophies for participation, instead of achievement. And when achievement does not come, liberal causes designed to illegitimately redistribute wealth becomes a frequent mantra from the left.
On the surface, liberal causes makes no sense. Their behavior makes no sense until one realizes that we are dealing with damaged individuals whose internal anger causes them to seek to bring harm others under the guise of performing some twisted form of justice (ie social justice).
At the end of the day, these psychologically impaired people make good warriors for the global elite. They are actively working to tear down the family, destroying Christianity and taking down America on behalf of the elite who want one-world government that the elite controls. In short, at the end of the day, liberals again find themselves being abused as they are relegated to the role of useful idiots for the express purposes of the Satanic mentality that underlies those who would subjugate all of  us on a global scale."
"These useful idiots (liberals) would do well to examine the fate of people like the Brown-shirts of Nazi Germany. Their fate is the fate of useful idiots. If and when the global elite ever seizes total control over the planet, they will have no use for liberals. Being a liberal will have a very short shelf-life under the New World Order’s authority where a rebellious and psychologically damaged mind will not be tolerated by a totalitarian regime." Read more

REPLY Truth Shrugs 19 hours ago Dan, 1) Why don't you hear anyone talking about Assange lately? 2) Why don't you hear a word about Admiral Rogers (former head of NSA under Obama/Trump) regarding all of the RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA narrative? 3) Why is Wray slow-playing/stalling the release of requested info?
I'll tell you why.. 1) Because Assange is key to this whole Russia story and US Atty. Durham is retrieving all kinds of fascinating info from Assange (think Seth Rich... "hacked" DNC emails (blame RUSSIA)...). 2) Admiral Rogers is a true patriot and saw what was occurring against (future) President Trump and logged everything (perhaps "mislabeled" to avoid cleanup by the corrupt Intelligence Community under Obama?). You can bet he's chatting with Durham too. 3) Because of Durham's ongoing investigation and they don't want to announce that publicly because that then confirms there is even an investigation into certain people to begin with. Keep it all under wraps until Durham is ready to start handing down indictments.
They have nowhere to go. The walls are closing in and the American people are going to see a miraculous show this fall and through the next year. Justice is coming. Read more

Izzat - Deep house 2018 songs
Neil Young maintains getting gold from his file. This is a live taking of 1973 that today comes to light. This is a concert of the display tour of one of the best Canadian collections Tonight's the night live. The highly recommended disk includes 18 parts but we're left with this Mellow my brain, which provides the quality of the less stormy Young There's a period once the Canadian does not reach the notes and needs to resort to a type of growling. That spot makes the track even bigger.   At any given time when what is carried out in pop is cursing Donald Trump, Meg Remy, the only real mind behind the fresh pop project US Women, moves and centers on Barack Obama. And he does it in a lovely track of heartbreak that your Shangri-La might have sung if the disco time had caught them. Meg covers a man she dropped deeply in love with, who felt such as a excellent person who stated her a brilliant future but finally existed through a tortuous eight-year relationship in which he lied and used "the cowards'beloved weapons. M.A.H. by US Women is also one of the very most beloved House 2018 songs. Deep house 2018 songs is one of the very most sensory and heavy varieties of electronics. It has more and more parishioners who find to combine with it to be able to enjoy all of the eloquence that's situated and etched by great artists. At the beginning of 2018, there were several starts that needed our ears, we have picked the ones that have impacted us probably the most in addition to moved the soul both national and global DJs.   It causes us to a brain movement where getting lost in the confines of the noise is an iron mission. Naturalness and at the same time go turn in hand in a EP that handles to cause you to forget all of the earthly points of the world so mundane. A tale based on beats that permit you to sense in every its forms. And that is what audio is approximately: to wake in us what set resting. No real matter what type audio you love to listen, you will get all kinds of audio in Top dance hits 2018. If you are seeking to discover the best Edm music 2018 on YouTube, listed here are our recommendations.   That really small Australian artist whose era is 22 years of age managed to keep behind a promising job as a young child actor to get rid of up being a musical trend with a YouTube video. Its formula is definitely an unprejudiced and hedonistic dance-pop of that which comes easy and the first. If you intend to enjoy such films and other European top hits 2018.

2018 Grammys: Biggest Winners and Losers full list
The 2018 Grammys saw Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar walk away with the bulk of awards expected for Jay Z. Alessia Carr surprised some by walking away with the Best New Artist award which many thought would go to SZA. You can see the top moments from the 60th Annual Grammy Awards show here. Bruce Springsteen took a backseat to Carrie Fisher for the spoken word category while Leonard Cohen beat out Chris Cornell in best rock performance category. Many expected the posthumous entrant Cornell to take that award. The best speeches of the night are just below:
Bruno Mars Accepts Album of the Year
He'd just won record of the year and song of the year, but Bruno Mars still had some words of wisdom left when he stepped to the stage to accept his third "Big Four" Grammy of the night. He thought back to being 15 years old, opening up shows in his native Hawaii, performing stadards to tourist crowds from all over the world. "Later on in life, I found out that those songs were written by either Babyface, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, or Teddy Riley," he said, thinking back to his R&B heroes. "I remember seeing it first hand, seeing people dancing together, that had never met each other, from two sides of the globe." As for 24K Magic's win, he said, "That’s all I wanted to bring with this album, to see everybody dancing.”
Logic Goes In On Trump, Abusers After His Big Performance
After rapping "1-800-273-8255" -- his anti-suicide song alongside Khalid and Alessia Cara -- Logic diverged from his usual lyrics to speak on other pressing issues. These included the #MeToo and Time’s Up movements ("Stand tall and crush all predators under the weight of your heart that is full of the love that they will never take away from you”) and Donald Trump’s vile comments about immigrants from non-white nations, saluting, “all the countries filled with culture and diversity and thousands of years of history.”
Chappelle's Show Against the System
In winning best comedy album, Dave Chappelle’s acceptance speech was a little anti-climactic. He thanked his family, then left us with a quick, "See you on Monday.” Fortunately, the legendary comic had dropped some crucial soundbites earlier in the evening. In introducing the nominees for best rap album, Chappelle shouted out the members of his beloved Tribe Called Quest (along with an “R.I.P. Phife Dawg”), perhaps nodding to Q-Tip’s annoyance at being snubbed in this year’s nominees. And to kick off the night, Chappelle interjected Kendrick Lamar’s fiery opening performance with some scathing spoken word jabs. Most notably: “I just wanted to remind the audience that the only thing more frightening than watching a black man be honest in America… is being an honest black man in America.”
& 3. Kendrick Lamar
Many hoped the 2018 Grammys wound end with Kendrick Lamar giving a cathartic speech in accepting album of the year. At the very end, things didn’t go his way, but he did provide the MSG audience with a pair of deeply meaningful speeches early on, in winning best rap/sung performance (alongside Rihanna) and best rap album. He shouted out his heroes -- JAY-Z, Nas, and Puff Daddy -- as well as Rihanna’s star power. Watch clips of both below.
Janelle Monáe Introduces Kesha
Kesha's rousing 2017 gospel-pop track "Praying" got a spellbinding performance from Cyndi Lauper, Camila Cabello, Andra Day, Julia Michaels, and Kesha Rose herself. And it also got a monster of an introduction from Janelle Monáe, who saluted the #MeToo and Time's Up movements, recognizing Kesha's career-risking defiance in helping to spark both back in 2014: "To those who would dare silence us, we offer you two words: Time's up... We have the power to undo the culture that does not serve us well. Let's work together, women and men, committed to creating safer work environments and equal pay."
Camila Cabello Salutes the DREAMers
Camila Cabello introduced U2’s Statue of Liberty performance in dramatic fashion. She shouted out America's immigrants, specifically those in the country under the DREAM Act. With the status of DREAMers under siege by the Trump administration, the Cuban-born artist -- who emigrated to America at age five -- did her best to make Lady Liberty's meaning especially clear: "These kids can't be forgotten and are worth fighting for." 2018 60th Annual Grammy Awards Complete List of Winners GENERAL FIELD Album of the Year: "Awaken, My Love!" — Childish Gambino 4:44 — Jay-Z DAMN. — Kendrick Lamar Melodrama — Lorde 24K Magic — Bruno Mars -- WINNER Record of the Year: "Redbone" — Childish Gambino "Despacito" — Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee featuring Justin Bieber "The Story Of O.J." — Jay-Z "HUMBLE." — Kendrick Lamar "24K Magic" — Bruno Mars -- WINNER Song of the Year: "Despacito" — Ramón Ayala, Justin Bieber, Jason "Poo Bear" Boyd, Erika Ender, Luis Fonsi & Marty James Garton, songwriters (Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee Featuring Justin Bieber) "4:44" — Shawn Carter & Dion Wilson, songwriters (Jay-Z) "Issues" — Benny Blanco, Mikkel Storleer Eriksen, Tor Erik Hermansen, Julia Michaels & Justin Drew Tranter, songwriters (Julia Michaels) "1-800-273-8255" — Alessia Caracciolo, Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, Arjun Ivatury & Khalid Robinson, songwriters (Logic Featuring Alessia Cara & Khalid) "That’s What I Like" — Christopher Brody Brown, James Fauntleroy, Philip Lawrence, Bruno Mars, Ray Charles McCullough II, Jeremy Reeves, Ray Romulus & Jonathan Yip, songwriters (Bruno Mars) -- WINNER Best New Artist: Alessia Cara -- WINNER Khalid Lil Uzi Vert Julia Michaels SZA POP FIELD  Best Pop Solo Performance: "Love So Soft" — Kelly Clarkson "Praying" — Kesha "Million Reasons" — Lady Gaga "What About Us" — P!nk "Shape Of You" — Ed Sheeran -- WINNER Best Pop Duo/Group Performance: "Something Just Like This" — The Chainsmokers & Coldplay "Despacito" — Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee Featuring Justin Bieber "Thunder" — Imagine Dragons "Feel It Still" — Portugal.
