well, we cant also score 240 and expect our bowlers to defend it. i hope all of them who cursed Kohli for batting slow and steady got their answers now. he kept us going. go argue with a wall.

we are in such a bad position right now. it is painful to watch kohli, rohit, bumrah and shami lose this match after they have given it their everything this tournament. I know we have been saying this for the past 12 years or smthg but we will be back stronger.

you deserved this World Cup India except you failed to perform where it mattered the most (as usual). but we love you and will always be there the next time you are on the field. and let's not think about how this could be Rohit and Kohli's last Odi WC match. lets just not.

christmas at cee's place - happy holidays 2023!

as you probably already know, december is my favourite month because... it's my birthday month but ALSO i just love the cold and snow and hot chocolate and gift-giving and holiday cheer <3

anyway, i wanted to do something nice for everyone because i know i haven't been as consistent and active as i used to be so i hope you'll accept this as a token of my appreciation for your patience and understanding and ALSO the fact that you guys continued to check up on me while i wasn't here was really so incredibly touching - your support and love means the world to me and this blog and this space would not exist without your presence!

okay with all the gooeyness out of the way: essentially this is going to be a toned down version of the christmas at cee's place that i did back in 2020 because realistically i cannot be churning out like 8k word drabbles every week like twenty year old cee did (i wish i could but i'm getting old) but they'll still be a little something to keep you company during the holidays :-) think of them as my teeny tidbits but just a little bit longer!! i'm not sure how many i'll write because those of you who have been around for a while know that i kinda like to post whatever i want whenever i want and then i disappear for six hours but i will definitely be around a little more this month!

so this is where you come in! i encourage everyone to send in holiday-themed mini drabble requests so that i can continue to make ur dreams come true while adding a little bit of nutmeg and cinnamon into the mix :D old characters, new characters, no request is too wild or too much for me to handle -- just send them in and i'll try my best to make it happen.
