His hair is tricky at times but the braid is so important, vital even.

Here's the second to last knockoff I'm currently planning on making. I imagine he's a rather emotional family person, even if there's technically no blood in his bonds. As far as Cyan is concerned, his creator might as well be his parent, his band mate is basically his brother, and all of his scorpions are just as important as any household dog or cat.

Trad Art Masterpost

Masterpost with what I use for tradicional art

So to start off let’s go with what paints I use!

Watercolors: White Nights 12 colors set [i recieved these as a christmas gift from a friend :D ]

Gouache: TGA 5 colors set (cyan, magenta, yellow, black and white)

Ink: India ink! also known as Nankin, also knows and China ink, it depends where you buy it tbh .......

Next up, what paper I use

This is a multimedia block that i always buy because it honestly works wonders for ink and watercolors and it’s SUPER cheap. the block has 20 pages and costs like 3 dollars so it’s my go to! It’s honestly a bit shit with pencils tho

Next up, my watercolor/gouache brushes!

I have a few more brushes but these are my main ones! -I’ve a small water compartment KOI brush (thin) that i use alot when i go out to doode bc of how portable it is - Then i’ve a size 3 Winsor & Newton squirrel hair brush that i recieved from the same friend who gave me the white nights watercolors :] , it’s so good i’ve actually been using it for lineart alot like this

The other brushes are aquafine daler rowney, i have 3 flats (size 2 , 6 and 10) and the others are size 0/2 , 0 , 2 , 3 ,4 and 6

For inking I have these

I have two dip pens, one small and one is a G pen , two honestly very cheap and poor quality brushes that i ADORE. And i also have a bamboo brush that i dont really use often but really should bc it gives some great results

Finally some lessimportant things like my palette (plastic)

And my water containers, i have 3 for watercolors (the smaller glass jar is for removing the rough of the paint, then the container with a ramp to properly clean the brush and the porcelain one for clear water). The one on the right is for cleaning my ink brushes.

yes i do thrift, i like collecting cds and other interesting stuff that i find

dont really watch alot of youtube so i dont have a fav, but i every so often watch dunky. although i do say to go watch the moistbox they are bunch of cool doods, im in there too

no not really, but i believe in that stuff same with ghosts n junk

Question 1: What's the first reason that comes to mind when you think about why you love your f/o?

Who he is as a person, even if that’s a cheesy copout answer. (The real first thing that comes to mind is "everything” but I figured it’s better to have a copout answer than a very short one kfdfdnsk) 

Everything about Douxie is so... wonderful. He’s such a good person, he’s always doing what he thinks is right, even if it should be impossible or goes against all reason. He’s kind and compassionate and sweet and he cares so, so much, and I just adore him for it. Plus, he’s funny, and a goofball, and he’s enthusiastic, and you can tell he’s tired but he tries anyway, and he tries so hard. He’s loyal and protective and he’ll do anything to make sure the ones he cares about stay safe, and he’s an artist and a teacher and most of all he’s genuine. fdkjnkf he is very charming ok i just think he’s neat

Question 2: What's the most noticeable physical attribute of your f/o to you?

It definitely depends. If I haven’t noticed him yet, his hair’s a dead giveaway, and I love his hair. It’s sort of wild in a kempt kind of way, like he clearly cares for his hair but it’s naturally a bit wavy-curly and he’s got a bit of a fringe so it’s a little on the wilder side. Not to mention those gorgeous blue tips! I love his natural hair color the way it is but the blue really looks nice on him. It’s a cool, bright pop of color against his darker natural hair and his punk look, and it matches his magic, which I think is super neat. Overall, it suits him!

If I’ve gotten stuck staring at him (or pictures of him) the feature I spend the most time admiring is his eyes, for sure. They’re this gorgeous hazel, the green variant, and he’s so expressive. Everything about how he’s feeling is so obvious in his expression and the way he holds himself but especially in his eyes, and they’re just beautiful. He’s got really pretty eyelashes, too, and it softens him in a way? I could just look at him for hours and let’s be real, I probably have by now

Question 3: What do you think others notice about your f/o first (physical or otherwise)?

In general, I’d say his aesthetic. The punk emo thing he’s got going on is sort of hard to miss! If you were physically there with him, though, it would also be pretty immediately noticeable how tall he is, since he’s a little over 6 foot. His accent can be pretty obvious too, depending on where he is in the world, and personality-wise, the first thing people tend to notice about him is that he’s somewhat flirty and downright charming.

Question 4: What's your favorite physical attribute of your f/o?

Oh, my favorite thing to look at is how expressive he is. I mentioned it before, in my answer to question 2, but it’s impossible to miss how he’s feeling about things. He kinda wears his heart on his sleeve, and it’s absolutely adorable. Everything from his facial expressions to his hand gestures to his body language is almost exaggerated, but he doesn’t do it on purpose-- it’s just how he is. 

Meanwhile in a more physically appreciative sense, my favorite thing about him is his hands. I’m kind of a dork and I end up fantasizing about holding his hand way more than is probably considered normal lmao

Question 5: What's your favorite personality trait of your f/o?

Remember how I started off this whole post rambling on about how much I love who he is as a person? Yeah, that makes this a really difficult question to answer skjgnknjngkd

I guess it’s hard to explain, but my favorite thing about him is how compassionate he is in everything he does. (Which doesn’t feel like the right word, but whatever.) He’s soft and a dork and he cares so so so so much ok I lovvvvve him

Question 6: What's a scent that you associate with your f/o (that isn't their perfume/cologne)?

I don’t really associate any scents with him (yet?) but apparently he smells like old books, cats, warm pastries, burnt cloves, sweets, and home. 

Question 7: What color do you associate with them?

Blue. Bluish purple, sort of like indigo? But softer. The color of his hoodie and his highlights in most lighting. (In other lighting, sometimes his tips match his magic more than his hoodie. His magic’s cyan, bright and energetic, but I associate that more with Krel. Douxie is a more mellow, deeper color.)

Question 8: Is there a specific physical feeling you associate with the thought of them (flutters in your stomach, calloused hands, etc)?

Hmmn, yeah, but it’ll sound embarrassing to say it,,, I associate him with. the feeling of hopefulness, like you can do anything-- the way your heart leaps and suddenly everything is lighter for just a moment when you get through that thing you never thought you’d actually accomplish. I feel him in the surge of warmth in my chest for random people I encounter at work or on the street with the realization of how very human we all are, how much we all have in common. I think of him in the comfort and safety of my room, my home, my bed. I feel love, and I feel hope, and I feel comfort-- and I think of Douxie. 

Question 9: What's a phrase that makes you think of your f/o?

There’s a few! Obviously there’s his catchphrase, which I’ll literally never hear anywhere else-- “fuzzbuckets”-- but every once in a while I’ll hear a line very similar to something in Wizards-- at work, on the television, whatever-- and I’ll pause whatever I’m doing because I’m thinking of him. 

Question 10: Is there a food that you associate with your f/o?

I don’t really associate any foods with him, but recently everyone’s been kinda screaming about his canon scent being burnt cloves. I don’t actually know what they smell like, but I’ve been thinking about cloves a lot in the past day or so since I heard the announcement.

In 999 which characters are safe to get close to and not worry about dying?

sup dood! for the ppl who don’t know what 999 is: Here’s a trailer

(finally figured out how to put videos in these things lol) 

i assume you haven’t played yet soooo wont go into too much detail….999 has 6 endings including the true ending, and there are no character that survives all 6 of those endings…..they all die in at least one of them…sorry dood. for me i kinda get excited when the death is somewhat surprising or is a big turning point in the overall plot. :) and i have to say, some of the deaths in the game….is quite shocking. 

on a side note: i slowly started Virtue’s Last Reward, this is some different kind of wow…. damn. so. many. possible. endings…………(looks at the flowchart and eyes wide) For my first blind playthrough it didn’t let me finish the route(cyan, ally) so i assume i need to find certain info/look at a certain event to continue this path; gotta come back later i guess. So far i have no idea what the heck is going on but digging it. puzzles are definitely harder than 999 and the plot seems more complex as there are multiple things going on…. bombs? deadly virus? golems? murder!? 

So many backstabbings it hurts….all i can trust is Luna. i like Luna. I like her very very much. My first impression of Sigma(main character) and Phi was terrible but they are slowly growing on me. I also like them very much. I think my favorite is Sigma right now. Why don’t we have a VA and more scenes with him besides that “being abducted scene” i need to see him and his muscles more

Also your pastle work is amazing!!! Like how do you... like get it so smooth and beautiful! (I don't have much exp in I pastels other then playing with them at school but I can tell a lot of work and love went into those pictures) I don't know how you do it but It looks beautiful!!!
