I recently got married to my long time love Boney Kakwani. We had our dream beach wedding at The Lalit, Goa. Watching all the rom-coms growing up we wanted to have western Wedding Functions with our traditional ones. We started with mehendi, the next function was beach side white ring ceremony then came the traditional sangeet. The three day started with yellow themed haldi & chooda,with a floral baraat going to the beach , we had our pheeras at the beach at sunset. A ball room themed ” first dance” cocktail was enthralling. Finally to wrap up the wedding the traditional way a grand reception in our home town was conducted. We both choose completely different looks and outfits for each function. We really thought everything through, as with all the ups and downs with dating for 8 years we wanted a perfect Sindhi-Punjabi wedding and yes it was beautiful.
