I snuck a Homestar Runner reference into a conversation with @dad-cetemol and decided to commit to the bit. Every time I draw Omagh it feels like I can't quite draw his face until it suddenly just kinda happens.

ok this may as well be more of an AU than a headcanon, BUT. With the whole snake theme Mr. Qi has going on and the last quest before you can enter the casino, hear me out:

Serpent Qi :]

The Galaxy Serpent! The essence of the dark expanses of the universe - a mischievous creature at heart and devourer of suns. Qi has his little fun entertainment messing around with Yoba's world and their little creations, luring them with the sweet promises of everything and beyond.

Yoba caught wind of Qi's antics and warned him not to test anyone's patience. Qi ignores this warning completely and eventually he was slained by an Infinity Sword. (undecided if it was Yoba's punishment or the slaying was done by a mortal on Earth)

As Qi was dying, Yoba decided to give him a second chance, on the note that he make amends and change his ways. Qi was reborn into a more human-like body while the remains of his serpent body was left to the elements, staring up to the now hot sun of Calico Desert.

Well, of course, Qi didn't change his ways completely, but at least it was not as disruptive as his time being a serpent (... in theory). He is still the eccentric, mysterious and all-powerful being he is and still faithfully held on to his serpent origins ;]

Shout out to @dad-cetemol for the idea of Mr. Qi having Galaxy Soul eyes and Galaxy Souls being fragments of his shattered soul upon his first death !

Fish Tragedies AU ♡♤

Here's what I hinted at earlier, some of my OC designs 4 @dad-cetemol 's Fish Tragedies! I noticed a few of my mutuals were making their own OC designs 4 it and I decided 2 check it out. It's really well written and there's so much cool lore to it! You can check it out on his Toyhouse! V v V

As for my OC's, I do have some more ref's to do for them but I got a bit of a backstory going on, I'll explain it 2 ya!

Nadja Jadan is a memory based Euclidean that resides in the 2nd layer of the Expanse, Arroket. she used to be in Ocolog but moved after wanting to start a special project, one that she didn't trust the FTC with.

Luckily, she had a number of friends that left with her. Manya Nyama, a Non-Euclidean. Vincent Tennvic, A Violinist and Memory Euclidean. Ruby Yurb, A former jeweler and a Biological Euclidean, and finally, the Gaia family (Zik Gaia, "Witchcraft" Gaia and Mamoru Gaia) all Biological Euclideans.

They all kept her company as the reason why she left was because she was lonely up there, and although she had friends now, she still couldn't help but feel incomplete sometimes. So she started on her "special" project.

She called it "Alex-13", a wooden robot that she created and thought of him as her son. Her friends were worried but let the project go through since it made her happy, over the years she made many upgrades and modifications, slowly making him more lively and like every other Euclidean. The only problem she constantly ran into was his inability to feel or express genuine emotion. She's tried many upgrades but none were reaching her ideal state of him, but she was determined, she wanted him to experience life and be his own person

She wouldn't stop for anything, she would see her project be complete, even if it would end in her own demise.

So that's what I got so far, I do have a few more ideas but I'll save em for later when they're more thought out n ready. (Plus I got a few more ref's I wanna do)

decided to do expression practice with FT!Cecil because Fish Tragedies is rooting deeper in my brain. and also bc i wanted to answer the unspoken question of "what *would* it look like if he were very grateful, confused, a little silly, or on the brink of reconsidering his self-imposed rule of never breaking down others for files" (ft. @swan-swanno's Yalena and @dad-cetemol's very own Poyntzpass, both of whom had their colors eyeballed from their Toyhouse pages/refs so apologies if something looks. off) alt caption: cecil visits the FTC zoo and all of these emotions happen in no particular order

About a year ago @dad-cetemol shared a doodle of this bastard dictator robe that David Marks wore for a time before his current design. Unfortunately I vibed with it so hard that I always wanted to do something with it- and that something ended up being 'godly suburbanite scorn'!

I Don't Mind The Cadence

This was the big attack I had planned for this year. I really, REALLY wanted to draw @swan-swanno's Iyovka and @dad-cetemol's Antonin having a domestic moment- and the idea that came to mind was the two of them getting ready for their day in the morning. This one took some concentrated effort, mainly because the image here is a reflection so I had to flip the canvas a few times to get it right, along with all the mirrored props and research into period accurate sleepwear and shaving implements.

I love how it came out, in the end. One of my favorite pieces this year by far.

I learned my friend @dad-cetemol is allergic to nuts recently, and had to metaphorically pry them away from a jar of hazelnut spread so they didn't get sick. This was meant to be a quick and easy shitpost doodle, and then very suddenly stopped being that. Oh well!

The Humor's Not The Same

This piece of @dad-cetemol's Omagh and my dear guy Ransan has actually quite a bit of context and symbology behind it. At some point I'll write about it properly, but for now you get Omagh with a glass of sink water and Ransan with a cup of hot chocolate ruminating on their choices.
