thinking about that one scene in book!mockingjay where katniss becomes so out of it over peeta's capture by the capitol that she deadass compares herself to a cat. i'm so serious, this girl who seemingly is extremely literal and practical and doesn't appreciate metaphors or symbolism (ha, yeah right) deadass said that she is buttercup, chasing a flashlight (peeta) and being inconsolable when the light is dangled out of her reach (by the capitol). like it was probably the funniest and most unhinged analogy tidbit in the entire book series
