So the fandom has called and there will be a Matt Simmons Appreciation Week. It's fitting considering that Daniel Henney's birthday is this month and what better way to celebrate by acknowledging Matt Simmons.

The appreciation week will start on November 21st and end on the 28th

Unrestrained

My heart screams for me to pull him closer to me in an embrace and not leave, but my mind screams to leave him and forget that this fairytale happened. I am now in a dilemma where I need to choose from my heart's screams of love and my mind's determination to let go of everything that transpired. What choice should I make?

I listen to my mind’s firm decision to go away and never return. Not returning the hug, I slightly pushed him away from me. His eyes water with this realization that I am to leave his life after we have been together for god knows how long. His hold on me tightens as my grip on my luggage bag tightens, my legs eager to walk my way of this house and his life. 

“Charlie, let’s fix this please.” “Give me some time to build myself again.”

I walk away, my boots clacking on the path walk as my legs lead me to nowhere, unaware of the presence that followed every step I took. I turn around to find Daniel, the man who I loved once, looking at me like a lost puppy who lost its owner. Not caring if he tires out, I look ahead, and continued walking. Unable to resist the urge to never talk to him anymore and cut ties with him, I turn around once again, only for him to hug me tight with tears in his eyes.

“Charlie, please... I can’t lose you.” “But Daniel-” “Whatever bothers you, tell me. I’m not letting you fix yourself alone. We are in this together, just like what I promised when I asked you to be my girlfriend; In good or bad times, I will always be there.”

His brown orbs look down at mine, letting me know he’s not giving up on me, on us, even if I shun him out in my life. Even if it takes years for me to realize he loves me not for my physique, but for who I am deep inside. His body shivers as he cried, his arms tight around me in a warm embrace. 

In that moment, I felt I was home already.

Recalling the Past

 Things couldn’t get much weirder till one day where Reid woke up to find himself in the body of his friend and teammate Matt. Soon, Matt also found himself in the same situation but in Reid’s body. Realizing that they mysteriously swap bodies, the two struggle to adapt to find the cause and solution to their situation while struggling to adapt to the other’s role on an active case. Let’s hope that they can get the case done without raising any suspicions from the team.
