Alright, last part! I'll link the previous observation here, And here's the start. Continuation; At first, Don Quixote didn't really succeed with nir weapon but nim adapted quick after a few tips from Outis. Like Yi Sang, the range isn't something she's used to as they're more apt with long reaching lances. They fumbled a lot at the start but soon got used to the kopis when realizing that the weapon actually somewhat suited her style of fighting only much shorter than nir usual weapon of choice. All and all, they did alright!

Then there's Heathcliff... I'd honestly thought he'd be fine with heavy weapons like Don Quixote's lance and he seemed to have thought the same buuuut as soon as nim gave nir lance to him, they fumbled to the ground with it. So it's not surprising when I say it was pretty nervous going to the fight, shouting, yelling, 'n all and.... Yyyyeah he did not do great-- Tried swinging the thing towards the enemies but ended up disadvantaging himself instead. There were a few successful hits from it where they were treating the lance like his usual bat but uh... They ended up... Faltering at the end- As stated before, I made sure to apologize deeply for this little experiment to 'im-

Rodya(along with some others) was already complaining about this when I first told them of the idea. But when she found out she would be receiving Sinclair's halberd, she seemed to have changed her mind a bit. She went in confident, with a tinge of nervousness and in the end, she also did decently. It's a bit strange though seeing how she uses the halberd- She held it somewhat close to the blade, making it similar to her original weapon's range, which lead to some complications of her getting pricked or hassled with the other end of the halberd. I saw her wielding it with difficulty- Thankfully, she went out fine...

I'll go over these two simultaneously. Another Sinner I expected to do great was Meursault, then Ishmael when I found out what weapon she'd be receiving. I also don't know what Meursault's background is yet but he uses the weapon at a similar ease to Outis. His fighting style with the mace and shield was way different than Ishmael's, but he carried it with what looked like no effort and he went out scot-free. Meanwhile with Ishmael, I was pretty confident with them when I found out she'll have a whirl at Heathcliff's weapon. The bat and the mace are already extremely similar to each other so it's no surprise to see her come out completely fine and having one of the greatest performance out of all of them.

Then finally there's Faust. Faust actually did alright, a bit messy but it's to be expected when one's not used to fighting with their fists. She fought analytically though I saw her taking a few hits due to some "miscalculations" as they worded it. Fae didn't comment much on the matter either, just fought with faer usual focused attitude.

A follow up to this post, Here are their individual evaluations:

To start, Outis was surprisingly yet unsurprisingly good with what he was given. I mean, I don't exactly know much about her yet but from what I could tell, she could have had a militaristic background so he carried out the experiment with the most ease out of the others. Yi Sang is extremely unfamiliar with the range of the weapon given to him. I don't exactly make him wear any long ranged IDs either except for Spicebush's and even so, I don't have it on mirro for long. With the little knowledge carried over from said ID, I'd see mirro frequently trying to awkwardly twirl the guandao and failing miserably, often leading to hits taken from the enemies. They didn't die though so that was a huge relief... Though they were severely injured afterwards- Mirr didn't exactly do much either, I.. Made sure to apologize to him and the rest after the fight and the experiment was over... Hong Lu was surprisingly natural with Ryōshū's ōdachi. They explained a good amount when they were out on the field on why this may be, stating how prin had experimented with a few bladed weapons before ending up in Limbus Company but by his own words, they also stated how he was "rusty", even though prins performance was actually pretty good. Ryōshū was also surprisingly fine with what she had, even made use of the book believe it or not... But it's Ryōshū, I don't think I should be that surprised with mare creativity. Despite her good performance, she complained a whole lot during the fight I had mare in and I had the unfortunate pleasure of hearing all of the horrid things she said through Sinclair's translations- Speaking of Sinclair, he did great with the zweihänder. They said that it was a little heavier than what they're used to but they honestly did amazing! I kinda half expected it though because one of the IDs I'd use for him a decent amount is that of the Zwei Association and, of course, their signature weapon is the zweihänder. I don't think I have anything else to note about him other than I did see them try to use the weapon like he would his usual halberd. It didn't really work out but they'd almost always recover quick from it. ... Oh boy, looks like I'll have to cut this up again- I'll bring up the rest of the Sinners soon. ⏰

Thought I'd give an update to this as well while I'm at it... I actually had the Sinners switch their weapons and such when exploring the Mirror Dungeons as usual after our contract with P Corp. and our journey through La Manchaland was over. I guess this will be quite long so be prepared for that. Let me give you a quick rundown: Outis got Rodya's hatchet, Yi Sang got Hong Lu's guandao, Hong Lu got Ryōshū's ōdachi, Ryōshū got Yi Sang's saingeom and... Book, I guess (it still surprises me how he actually uses that)-, Sinclair got Faust's zweihänder, Don Quixote got Outis' kopis, Heathcliff got Don Quixote's lance, Rodya got Sinclair's halberd, Ishmael got Heathcliff's bat, Meursault got Ishmael's mace and shield, and Faust got Meursault's gauntlets. Since Gregor's weapon is... Well, quite literally himself, I excluded him from the selection. I only let them do this for one battle since I didn't want them to struggle all much... It was only for a tiny experiment, after all. I'll bring out the individual evaluations soon, I've already typed a lot and the site wasn't letting me post it so I think it was a bit too long... ⏰

Has anybody tried to fight with swapped weapons? If so, what are your thoughts?

We haven't really tried that... But that sounds like a great idea to train the Sinners to improvise when they are without their weapons! I'll definitely note that down for future training! ⏰
