Welcome to a blog about DCL. Here you will find posts that may be a story in the world, posts that may be information about the world, posts that support the users of the world, and more. We also like hearing about OCs.

Some side projects will be posted or referenced too, such as Void's End. The projects mentioned typically are important to the characters, but I should define AUs first.

To start, here are the ranks of each.

Users- "IRL Humans" "Writers" Whatever you want to call it. I may be named The Orbz because the account has a focus on that character, but I still have a human user. Sparks- These are characters, they may have tons of character depth or a little. User inserts may be considered a spark or a user, depending how you use them. NPCs: Characters with little focus, they normally do not get names and fill basic roles. It is never a bad idea to promote an NPC to a Spark.

It is typical for characters to not be aware of users, as is often encouraged to not break the 4th wall. Some characters are "user aware" or "pseudo user" User Aware means the character knows of users. Pseudo user means the character can do things a user can do, such as run a Tumblr or Discord account.

Important Users and User awares are:

PuppetWhisperer(User, He/It): Original creator and continues creation. He is a messenger.

Spartan Roman (User, He/Him): Original creator on a smaller scale (Imagine DCL starting as a game for him to play, he defended his small thing while the world builder expanded.)

Grim of Balance's User (User, Any pronouns, preferred They/It): A creator who joined later, one who prefers not to show their true self and stay behind a character. Sometimes they appear as Grim of Balance, mostly they appear as The Orbz. They almost never go out of character and act themself, even when describing themself.

The Orbz (Pseudo User, He/Him): A character who gained power through his orbs that could copy abilities. He became user aware through powers copied, and other things.

Illusionist (User Aware): Illusionist is the highest level god in DCL. In any roleplay server he keeps all his memories as if there is only one Illusionist.

Asks are always open to communicate with a character, if the character is not user aware you may have The Orbz talk to them for you. He may even do actions if you ask, like pat the blorbo.

This post will have a tag with mentions to past important users or people who contribute.
