Dragon’s Dogma has a pawn feature they never told us: tattling on their creators

I had a female Pawn that I hired just tell me “as a Matter of Fact: My Master only hires Female Pawns, I wonder why?” Not only do Pawns have insider knowledge of monsters and quests but now they can tattle on their creator to other players.

Me again. I tried to do some mesh modding but only managed to crash my game. But after that I managed to work out how to swap existing models. It's so unfair that those hairstyles are not available in CC. I hope I can remove the accessories from the braid once the tools got an update.

One inclination is a kindhearted cinnamon roll, always by your side, always healing (cleaning) you. The other has a straightforward, unhinged inclination and would probably springboard off your face to catch a harpy.

DD2 Consumable Item Microtransactions

Capcom game having in game consumables as paid dlc/microtransaction makes me lose hope for future games and company. Will not play this game and will not recommend it. Bad practices begone.

been playing Dragon's Dogma 2, which is an adventure. the game is literally screenshot material with how good it looks and feels. plus including my pawn info for people wanting to use him ( now level 30 btw, old screenshot). loving the travel aspects of this game feeling like an anime lol. especially if you are going as slow as I am. literally doing any quest that pops up on my quest log. This is an old screenshot but my pawn is higher level now. might make him another spell casing class for damage but goated support. Or keep him as a support mage.

Jumped right into DDII today and I’ve got to say I’m enjoying it so far, the exploration scenery and combat are amazing. It’s definitely more than just a step up from the first game, I’ve decided to also post screenshots here of “Oreyus” & “Haezel’s” journey. I’ll be posting the two of them as well, Oreyus and Haezel are just inspired iterations of Solus and Lae’zel, not actually them of course but inspired variants in another world.

Wanted to make Torque in the Dragon's Dogma II character creator because I was bored but also because I am tempted to buy the game (when it goes on sale). Turns out you cannot make vibrant gingers, I am distraught. Also tried to make Dragunov but I kind of failed at giving him the beauty he deserves.

A little Dragon's Dogma 2 WIP:

With Dragon's Dogma 2 launching this Friday, I too spent solid 9 hours in the prereleased character creator to get my Arisen and my Pawn characters ready ahead of time. And boy do I love how they turned out. Mind you there's no way to turn off the UI in the creator so I haven't been able to take proper pictures of them yet but I'm sure that will change once the game launches so stay tuned.

Starting off with my Arisen character, Alcestis Lysther:

Once an honorable oathbound knight serving her queen, now Alcestis is just as disgraced as her Lady as she first saved her life and then followed her into exile to continue being by her side. Her loyalty and adoration outweighs the nagging guilt of her and her Lady's past actions.

I really wanted to give her a kind of sharp and hawk-like aesthetic and I REALLY adore the way she turned out.

Continuing with my main pawn, Oriana Cirrus:

A queen who - threatened by an usurper - devoured a curse to gain an advantage over her enemies but it only brought destruction and chaos leading to her downfall and exile. Stripped from all her titles and riches, now only the curse eating it's way through her body remains.

Oriana has three scripture tattoos, two of which are mirrored on Alcestis' body. I like the idea that Alcestis offered to bind some of her own life power to Oriana to sustain her and to stop the spread of the curse (visually resulting in the identical tattoos), a fact that surely gives their dynamic a certain gravity. I'm not that familiar with the Dragon's Dogma lore (yet) but I'm sure Alcestis getting her heart stolen by a dragon will be an interesting twist on their relationship.

I for one cannot wait to find out more about the lore and maybe fine tune the backstories of these two.
