So it's supposed to be a top 10, but I'm not sure I can do a top 10 from 2023 only *grimace emoji* Did I even watch 10 new shows this year? Let's try...

I love Keri Russell, and that show is excellent! (and there's Rufus Sewell, too...)

Ingrid (Upload S3)

Karen, Danielle, Ellen, Margo and all the ladies (For All Mankind S3)

One of my very favorite shows of this decade. Such a smart show, and *so many* female characters OMG! If you don't know that show, you must check it out.

Ellie (The Last of Us)

Not a fan of the monsters, but Ellie and Joel's relationship was golden. And the chemistry between the two actors was perfect.

Mary Jane Gold (Transatlantic)

I really enjoyed this show, so I will not hold it against them the lack of French characters for a show taking place in Marseille LOL

Maggie and Nina (Good Omens S2)

Lyra (His Dark Materials S3)

HDM is a favorite childhood book of mine, unfairly overshadowed by the bulldozer HP. It has a great gallery of female characters and this HBO adaptation is pretty good.

So, this sort of became my top 10 7 of 2023. Not a bad year. Not bad at all.

And not female, but a fantastic show that needs to be mentioned anyway (maybe I should do a proper top for best shows of 2023): Fellow Travelers.
