i hope and dream for the day when people appreciate swamps for being both beautiful and diverse ecosystems
#everytime i see someone go 'ew gross a swamp' i die a little on the inside#like EXCUSE ME THAT IS MY WIFE#mud and muck and curtains of spanish moss atop an altar of live oak#praying amongst the cicadas and scent of life and decay#deer in the woods and osprey over the canopy#swamps my beloved i love you#you are very dear to me ;w;
