"Peruvian Memories", Acrylic on canvas, 70 x 70cm. 🎨 When I was almost finished this canvas I realised I had painted my trek up Machu Picchu mountain in Peru. Many, many, MANY steep giant steps, super hot sun beaming down, colourful tropical plants and alpacas wandering around the ruins when I finally got down, plonked myself behind an ancient wall and had a well deserved picnic. Only for my MP3 player with Jeff Buckley and Neil Young I don't think I would have ever gotten to the bottom 😂. I will never do it again 😂 but I thank those memories for appearing on this painting. 🖌️ I will be exhibiting this painting at @start.art.global at the @saatchi_gallery this May along with many new paintings.
