Saturday's consignment store find. A miniture teacup designed by C Ahrenfeldt in Limoges France for the Crowell & Hubbard Co in Cleveland ohio.

From what I can find, Crowell & Hubbard Co took on that name in 1879 [source]. C Ahrenfeldt was active in Limoges from 1884 until 1969 [source]. Based on the markings I found on other items from the 1950s, and based on the age of other items from the same collector which ended up at the considgnment shop, I believe this is most likely from sometime between the 1890s-1930s, but I'm far from an expert! Most of my tea cup collection is Japanese or English. I think this is my first piece of French porcelain.

Old Art

By the way, the girl in the first drawing (CONCEPT ART!) is named Demitasse. She’s a character from my AUs! (Her preferred voice is Kimko Glenn.) Her shoes were inspired by the exploding shoes in “Special Delivery!”

And the Vile Mugman (V.M. Project) art is an old project from when I thought after “The Devil’s Pitchfork!”, Mugman was going to be Vile.

The references on the side are mine. I drew the weird one on the bottom (VERY old art 😭) and I made the edit on the top. And the middle is just devil’s body for a color reference.

So i got lazy and here ya go, i wont post any more of these unless i changed my mind...

I went back to the consignment shop for this minature tea cup that has been living in my head rent free.

I had skipped this one initially because I don't know much about french porcelain. The saucer has a pattern raised in the sides of it, and then there appears to be transfers on top with hand painting, but it's not exactly the same. So, I wasn't sure if it was very old and the imperfections came from hand detailing or if it was modern cheap stuff and the imperfections were just flaws / lack of care.

Pink tagged items were half off though, so it was worth the price tag even if it was modern.

After doing a little research, here is what I found.

It's from ch field haviland limoges. And the red mark on the back of the saucer was the standard mark from 1900-1941, though some pieces from 1882-1900 could also be marked in red. However, the GDA France mark in green dates to 1901-1941, so we can assume this piece is from around 1901-1941.

Cup and Demi both have a gene that only applies to demis side of the family and really it's only supposed to activate in a situation that they're dying and they don't have Parry, but only when they're about to die to their own magic, but bc blackhat did smth when he gave his blood to cup it activated it wrong and changed the DNA or wtv and now it activates when he's very angry🔥🔥🔥
