my migraine is being PERSISTENT, so I’m going to hold off attempting my Caliban replies until I’m home and can use gifs. I just want to be able to do them well and not make them incoherent at all.

♡ introduction.

everyone is doing super cute, in-depth introductions, and i’m not about to be the odd man standing!!! anyways, i’m summerlea and i’m twenty-four (i’m a baby, live with it). i’m honestly just a small fragile creature with a foul mouth, so if you ever hear anyone calling me bumble it’s because i’m literally just a little fuzzy bumbleebee tryin’ my best. 

i live in EST but i work night shifts so honestly we never know when i’m gonna be napping. i work in a medical lab (unfortunately, it’s one of the biggest testers for COVID in the country right now and i am not happy about it) but due to some ongoing health problems, which you’ll probably hear me complaining about a lot, i only work a couple days each week. 

my characters are all idiots, and i think, at this point, that’s just a reflection of who i am as a person. but they’re cute and friendly, and we love a spooky story, so at least there’s that? i’m a para-based writer, so while i may be inclined to do a text thread here or there, or answer/start open interactions, i truly do prefer closed ones that offer in depth plotting and development, and i am always open to building new connections in order to have something going with everyone!

I remember what it was like. Football players come in all sweaty and attractive and the hormones are insane, whatever. Never in my life did I consider jumping their bones in the school itself.”

WANTED CONNECTIONS.

✗ Brothers – Michael (twin brother, face claim of Alex Wolff or UTP -- they do not have to be identical twins) and Nicholas (older brother, face claim of Nat Wolff)

✗ Roommate/s – Mitch is in college and surviving on a mediocre paycheck, so he can’t afford much. Due to this, it’s better that he either shares a run-down apartment with somebody (preferably a male, in this case) or lives in a small house with a few different roommates.

✗ Best Friend ( JADEN ) – He’s a moody little dude, so it’s better that this person is somebody that he has known for a long time, who is willing to put up with his crazy antics, lazy habits, and depression.

✗ Ex-Girlfriend – This is not a happy plot, and I don’t see them rekindling things. Mitch is very closed off to the idea of love, and she is to blame, after cheating on him numerous times only to leave him in the end. Mitch was convinced she was the only girl for him, and she shattered that belief no matter how many times he forgave her. He might be stupid enough to fall into bed with her (if chemistry allows) but he could never trust her not to hurt him again.

✗ Friends – Mitch works at the Aladdin Theater and is currently enrolled in Derry Community College, so I imagine he’s made plenty of friends in both places, as well as around the town as a whole, over time. I’d really love for him to have some people to smoke with, and spend the day watching horror movies with. He also enjoys scouring the town chasing ghost stories and is working on a horror novel, so having somebody to relate to in that sense would be nice as well.

Friends with Benefits --

✗ Sad Friend – He’s been depressed for as long as he can remember, and usually that means spending the day in bed for too long or distancing himself from outings and “fun” activities. It’s not a constant feeling, but he has bad days, like anyone suffering depression does. I’d really like for him to have somebody who gets what that is like, even if that just means laying in bed together on lazy days. I could see this plot becoming physical (depending on gender) because Mitch finds things like hand holding to be comforting when he’s upset or on the brink of an anxiety attack. Physical contact makes him feel “human” and if he’s comfortable enough with this person, could come to crave it more often.

my god sometimes English is so confusing for me. I’ve been writing in English since I was 15 or something (i’m 24 now) but still sometimes i’m like. WAIT IS THAT EVEN A WORD. IS THAT EVEN A SENTENCE? henlo sorry I’m not posting as much as I have been but I’m super up for plotting! I’m working from home for the next however long, but only with one monitor for my work stuff so I’m able to look at my laptop on breaks and lunch. I’m off on Thursday so I’ll be around most of the day if not all of it! Jemma needs more stuff (flirting is a very welcome concept for her, she’s been dry as a bone for a loooong time) so if you wanna, I’m very up for anything you throw at me!

my day has been kind of weird today, and i’m praying it’s just my over-active anxiety, but a friend of mine who happens to sit right behind my husband at work and shares a lunch table with him has been out of work for nearly a week adn a half, and he’s heard that it’s likely due to COVID and it has me all sorts of stressed because there’s a good chance he could have passed it on to him, which means i would be getting it as well, if she was positive. i have a weakened immune system and am already fighting off what i think is another kidney infection, and i am just terrified, and it’s basically shot my whole mood for the day, and everything is just bothering me so i’m sorry if i’m not seeming like myself today.

It’s mine and my sister’s birthday today and I’m honestly not sure if we’re doing anything later. We’ve got nothing planned as far as I know, but she can be super unpredictable with things like this.
