Anthropomorphized animal teens who haunt the narratives of their respective games, who meant a lot to at least one of the protagonists but whose absence goes unacknowledged by the rest of their small town, and whose disappearance may have been tied up in the cosmic / meta horror of the setting (and may in fact be currently trapped beneath the town itself)
