Hi! I'm having a terrible time trying to get the romhack to work using the Desume emulator? I'm on a chromebook and I'm using the recommended patch-thingy for Android and it's not quite working? Any advice/tips?

Hi! What part of the process is it messing up on? If it's seemingly patching correctly through the android app but the game won't play I'd recommend trying another emulator to see if the problem persists, or if it's an issue with saving then it may be that you need the other version of the patch from the zip file (should be a melon one and a nogba one - the melon one is the right choice for most emulators iirc)

If it's failing to set up the patch itself - double check you're using a US eos rom rather than EU or JP - it won't work on those bc the checksums don't match. If it's been previously modified in any way that can also cause the checksums to fail and the patch to not apply, so make sure it's a clean copy!

If it's something different to any of these or if none of these solutions work, let me know and I'll see if I can figure it out 👍

im a fan of everything megaten and its my main fandom! all my old art is still on my twt, im into all persona games (primarily p2 duology, theyre my favs <3, p3 is a close second fav), all mainline smt (primarily iv apoc and 1) + dds, desum, sh, desu, raidou kuzunoha and more + spinoffs! (i read qds. i hate it. ruined my life. u should read it too; read rk vs lone marebito and this one saved my life im obsessed with a mc from it etc) + other general atlus games too (puyo puyo, trauma center etc)

for enst my favs are ever changing, but one that stuck w me since the beginning is kanata <3 iba and yuzu are also high favs. maybe i should post my favs tierlist if anyone wants my shit taste in enstars

I just lost 3 hrs of my save data bc my dad bumped into me, causing DeSuMe to erase all data except for slot one.

Fuck this shit, gonna have to drop Platinum now for a long while.

Hi! Your Sky Expanded rom looks so so so cool!! I'm a fan of emulated games, but never played rom-hacks before. I've followed the instructions on the read-me, but now it is a File instead of a .nds file. Could you tell me where to go from here please? (I use DeSuMe and sometimes NO$gba)

Hi, thank you! :D in my testing, I've not had any issues with xDelta generating the nds file properly, but I think the generic file type usually happens when a program isn't provided an extension and so just decides to not use one at all. I'd probably suggest trying again, but add the .nds extension to the end of the file name when saving the output file!

Example: If you were saving the file as 'romhack', instead save it as 'romhack.nds'

(I've usually been overwriting existing .nds files in my patch testing, therefore keeping it in the name already lol)
