The OC of Daulatpur police station died in Corona

Kushtia's Daulatpur Police Station OC Ariful Rahman died of coronavirus (Covid-19). He died at Rajarbagh Police Hospital at 9.45 pm on Wednesday (August 26). In the last few days he was in life support. He joined Kushtia's Daulatpur Police Station as an officer-in-charge on August 31, 2019. Earlier, he was in charge of Santahar Railway Police Station. He had earlier served as sub-inspector in Daulatpur, Kumarkhali and Model police stations in Kushtia. He was very close to the people of Kushtia. He contracted corona on August 14 and was admitted to Rajarbagh Police Hospital in Dhaka on August 15 when he started having difficulty breathing. He died Wednesday while undergoing treatment.
