man i love sonic x i loved watching sonic x . and so unpopular opinion apparently but i loved chris

#YES he annoyed me greatly and i wish there was less focus on him #YES i expected him to annoy me and i liked it when he did . because he was in elementary school for the first two seasons #kids are annoying !!! sometimes they’re annoying on purpose !!! i know this bc i look after kids a lot !!! i was giggling to myself like #oh that’s such an annoying little kid thing to do . this show is fucking awesome i love chris’s character #also like . his arc !!! the way his abandonment issues build up over two seasons and culminate in two of my fav eps of the entire series #and one of my fav season finales ever #literally my only serious gripe with chris was the fact that instead of finding a new space for his character to fit in .#sometimes they used him as a replacement. highlighted esp w the way sonic and tails eventually just . stopped rlly interacting #because sonic was with CHRIS . and chris was being his little brother .#and esp highlighted in the sa2 adaptation . chris replacing amy when he went to go talk to shadow about saving the world #when sonic have chris shadow’s ring instead of rouge . that irked me to no end #but i still like him . i still like him so much #i have to also clarify for my own peace of mind i don’t say kids are annoying because i hate kids #i love working w kids and ppl that treat them poorly bc they don’t know how to communicate or regulate emotions or just exist .#die forever
