November 16, 2017 – DikMik (Hawkwind) was born Michael Davies in 1943 in Richmond, England.
In 1969, DikMik Davies and friend Nik Turner signed on as roadies for the group that Dave Brock, a childhood friend of theirs, had formed with guitarist Mick Slattery, bassist John Harrison and drummer Terry Ollis.

Far too much reverb on this but fun to mess about with the Microbrute. As it doent have presets or memory slots you have to spend time with it finding those sweet combinations.
Puts me in mind of Hawkwind and their groundbreaking use of synths. I think they were the first band that inspired me with their synth playing - way back in the early ‘70′s. I remember the synth player was called DikMik. After googling him I hear he recently died http://louderthanwar.com/dik-mik-hawkind-keyboard-legend-rip/
