This post is going to be very long so I'm gonna split it into two halves. The first being why Project 2025 is bad, and the second being proof of Trump's support of it despite his denial.
🔢 First off, Project 2025 does contain some good points and ideas, but the vast majority of what it contains is terrible policies that benefit no one and harm many.
Some of the policies it includes are things like.
• Create a militarized domestic surveillance corps against individuals and groups who stand against the implementation of Project 2025.
• Reinstate work requirements for SNAP and Disability, essentially starving disabled people who can't work and have been using welfare to feed themselves.
• Reverse regulations in food and animal safety via executive order, ensuring less safe food and farming practices.
• End required food safety labeling, preventing consumers from knowing the dangers or allergens within their food.
• Tighten eligiblity for free federal meal programs in K-12 schools, ensuring more food insecure children go hungry.
• Switch from a 40 hour work week to a 160 hour work month, making actual overtime nigh-impossible to get and letting employers force workers to work overtime without time and a half pay by cutting their hours later in the month.
• Dismantle the NWS and NOAA and charge people to view government funded weather alerts and forcasts, preventing them from making weather announcements and increasing the number of Americans who die in natural disasters as a result.
• Give conservatives in the executive branch unquestioned authority to make policy decisions, regardless of whether or not their appointments are approved and confirmed by Congress, sidestepping all Congressional oversight in a way that directly contradicts the constitution.
• Revise the executive order related to the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004, giving the executive branch expanded powers to conduct domestic intelligence activities that infringe on civil liberties and privacy.
• Remove civil rights protections for people based on sexual orientation and gender identity by removing those two terms from all legislation, legalizing discrimination towards people based on their sexual orientation and gender identity.
• Remove protections for non abortion based reproductive healthcare and reproductive rights by removing terms like reproductive health and reproductive rights from all legislation, putting protections of things like the ability to buy birth control, access sex education, and not be forced into sterilization or genital surgery at risk (forced sterilization of the disabled continued into the 1970s in the United States and was only stopped by the legislation this change would threaten).
• Outlaw pornography, jailing people who create and distribute it, and jailing public librarians who work at libraries that contain it, pushing pornography from the legal market to the illegal market where actors and actresses will have little to no protections and are more likely to be abused.
• Label transgender people, actual people, their very existence, as pornography, which by making pornography illegal, necessitates labeling being transgender as a crime.
• Limit mainstream press access to the White House, preventing the press from publicizing misdeeds committed in the White House that could otherwise go unnoticed and unpunished.
• Reinstate executive orders designed to strip power from unions and give it to employers and management, weakening unions even more.
• Reduce the authority of the Office of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, limiting accountability within the Department of Homeland Security.
• Eliminate the Ombudsman of the Office of Immigration Detention and the Office of Citizenship and Immigration Services, preventing people abused by those offices from filing reports of maladministration.
• Reduce the role of the Office of Civil Rights, making it harder for people who are in the school system to have recourse against discrimination, abuse, and maladministration.
This is only a small fraction of the absolute crap present in Project 2025.
The entire 922 page manifesto and their website is full of the shittiest, most stupid, harmful, dangerous, and authoritarian policy plans that have ever been written by an American.
But despite how bad that all is, it gets a lot worse.
The very basis for Project 2025, replacing nearly all personnel in the executive branch with people totally loyal to the president, many of which who will remain in office even after the administration leaves office, is the literal creation of a deep state.
A group of thousands of faceless, unelected people totally loyal to a political party who will interpret laws and execute policy long after the person who appointed them is gone.
Again, Project 2025 is just mostly made up of awful policies, it is the creation of a DEEP STATE.
As a side note, Kevin Roberts, president of the Heritage Foundation, said that the country is “in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be.”
https://www.nytimes.com/2024/07/03/us/politics/heritage-foundation-2025-policy-america.html
Now I don't know about you, but that's a massive fucking red flag and a literal threat of violence to essentially everyone that doesn't support them.
🔢 Second off, Trump's connection to Project 2025. Trump has states repeatedly that he doesn't know anything about Project 2025 or the people behind it, and that he doesn't support it. This of course is a complete lie, and there's a massive amount of evidence proving his connection to it and support of if.
Some of this evidence includes.
Kevin Roberts, the leader of the Heritage Foundation and creator of Project 2025 said that he knows Trump is lying about not knowing about Project 2025 in order to fool Americans into voting for him.
https://meidasnews.com/news/unearthed-audio-project-2025-leader-kevin-roberts-says-trump-is-purposefully-lying-to-america-about-not-being-involved-in-project-2025
Trump delivered the keynote address at a Heritage Foundation dinner in 2022 and said, "This is a great group, and they’re going to lay the groundwork and detail plans for exactly what our movement will do." Kevin Roberts, president of the Heritage Foundation and lead on Project 2025, even acknowledged Trump had to distance himself from the plan publicly as a "political, tactical, decision" but believed he was still its standard bearer.

Despite claiming to not know or be associated with the Heritage Foundation, Trump gave a keynote address at the Heritage Foundation’s President’s Club Meeting in 2017 and said "Your organization is named, The Heritage Foundation, because you understand that our glorious heritage is the foundation of everything we hope to achieve."

Trump claims to not know who is behind Project 2025 (Kevin Roberts), despite the fact that he has said he is working closely with people in the Heritage Foundation and Kevin Roberts, that he will continue to work with them into the future, and that they are working on "some things that are going to be very exciting".
https://www.reddit.com/r/NewsAndPolitics/s/3u6xt924FP
Russell Vought, the co-author of Project 2025 and the director of the Office of Management and Budget under Trump, is on tape saying that his group, the Center for Renewing America, was drafting hundreds of executive orders, regulations, and memos that would allow for the quick implementation of Project 2025 if he won and that Trump "blessed" his organization and that “he’s very supportive of what we do.” He said explicitly that their goal was a Christian Nationalist state, that he believes Trump should use the military to suppress any protests, and that Trump’s denial of the plan was political optics and that he actually is on board with it
https://www.cnn.com/2024/08/15/politics/russ-vought-project-2025-trump-secret-recording-invs/index.html
Trump's own SuperPAC not only ran adds in support of Project 2025, they also called it "Trump's Project 2025."
https://x.com/ammarmufasa/status/1809252191837753590
The Heritage Foundation created this thing called the Project 2025 Presidential Administration Academy, which is essentially a 14 hour long series of videos they plan on using to instruct and vet political appointees in the next conservative administration, and 15 of the people who appear in them were a part of Trump's Administration (Spencer Chretien, Rick Dearborn, Dennis Kirk, Bethany Kozma, Karoline Leavitt, Michael Duffey, Paul Ray, Roger Severino, Steven G. Bradbury, James Bacon, Dan Huff, Hugh Fike, James Braid, Paul Teller, and Sarah Makin).

Paul Dans, Spencer Chretien, and Troup Hemenway, who were Trump's Chief of Staff at the US Office of Personnel Management, Trump's Associate Director of Presidential Personnel, and Trump's other Associate Director of Presidential Personnel respectively, are all members of the Project 2025 team.

JD Vance, Trump's vice president, gave a foreward in the new book by Kevin Roberts where he said "The Heritage Foundation isn’t some random outpost on Capitol Hill; it is and has been the most influential engine of ideas for Republicans from Ronald Reagan to Donald Trump." And likened democrats and the political left to dangerous wolves that must be defended against with muskets.

At least 140 people, including the ones I've already mentioned, that Trump previously appointed to his executive branch and White House are directly involved with Project 2025.
https://www.cnn.com/2024/07/11/politics/trump-allies-project-2025/index.html
Trump has supported the concept of replacing civil servants with people completely loyal to him, an action Project 2025 directly calls for many times.

Trump said that "I know nothing about Project 2025. I have no idea who is behind it. I disagree with some of the things they’re saying and some of the things they’re saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal. Anything they do, I wish them luck, but I have nothing to do with them."
He literally wished them luck in everything they do while simultaneously saying he didn't know anything about it and thought some of the things they supported are ridiculous and abysmal.
Three completely irreconcilable contradictions in just 43 words.
A blatant sign that he's lying here in at least 2 ways.
https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/112734594514167050
This is only the most blatant and recent stuff. There's a whole mountain of evidence proving that Trump is not only connected to Project 2025, the Heritage Foundation, and the people who wrote it, but supports Project 2025 and its policy plans.
His denial is such a blatant lie that it legitimately saddens me how easily people so many people fell for it.
As another side note, nothing on the Agenda 47 website has been updated since December 2023, which points to it having been a ploy in manufacturing a platform for him to win the republican primary on rather than his actual full policy book, as if Agenda 47 was his actual policy book, the website wouldn't have been neglected the entire election year.
This significantly strengthens the notion that Project 2025 is probably his actual policy book and not just Ageneda 47.
Also an overwhelming majority of what is in Ageneda 47 is also a part of Project 2025.
https://www.donaldjtrump.com/agenda47
🔢 Let's condense this into 3 easy to digest points so you can get full grip on everything I just informed you about.
1. PROJECT 2025 IS HORRENDOUS. Regardless of whether or not you support the main tenets of project, the vast majority of what it aims to do is absolutely FUCKING HORRIBLE, damaging not only to this country, but to everyone in it and their civil liberties, and that alone should be enough to make any reasonable American vehemently oppose it.
2. TRUMP LIED ABOUT HIS INVOLVEMENT. Trump COMPLETELY LIED about not knowing who was behind and not supporting Project 2025, and there is a literal mountain of evidence proving it.
3. TEUMP LIED BECAUSE PROJECT 2025 IS SO TOXIC.
Trump LIED specifically because he knew that regardless of how many people vehemently support him, Project 2025 is so FUCKING HORRIBLE that he would quickly lose support if his connection to it became common knowledge among his supporters.
So again, in short, Trump lied to you, to trick you because Project 2025 is so bad he was rightfully afraid people wouldn't vote for him if they knew of his connection to it.
If you're already not regretting voting for Trump, now would be a good time to start.
Can you explain to me what Project 2025 actually is?
It's a series of policy proposals that a bunch of center right commentators and think tankers put together with the hopes that the "next Republican president" would use it as a guidebook. No one who ran adopted it and no one in the incoming Trump administration had anything to do with it. Most of the proposals are run of the mill conservative wishlist items like getting rid of the Department of Education, strengthening voter ID laws, and securing the border. Liberal activists and journalists nitpicked and misrepresented several of the proposals to make it seem like this was Trump's blueprint to end democracy and install himself as dictator, despite Trump himself saying that he has no idea what it is and directing people to his campaign website which had his actual agenda on it.

As a side note, Kevin Roberts, president of the Heritage Foundation, said that the country is “in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be.”
