Every once and a while I'll remember the dsmp and how much of... a thing that was, and one of my favorite ocs is from that fandom. So, I'm just reclaiming the whole thing bc my au is already separated enough from the c! storyline.

Etheros archives- backstories pt 1

(This is a rewrite so I don’t attach this to the ccs, they’re just ocs w the sameish story)

Eris was a sailor lady who ran into the gods when she sailed too far into the sea. The gods were interested, and they made a deal to make her immortal on the deal that she would have a kid for them every hundred or so years

The gods can die, and the gods can retire, so having replacements at the ready is pretty good.

She has four kids-

Zephyr, the oldest, and the carrier of the sea god. He’s usually off chilling in the ocean, and visits his mom the most. Zephyr’s out there living his best life.

Ozmodius “Ozzie” is the carrier for Prime, the goddess of prosperity. He has the most contact with their god, but he’s a bit of a hot mess. Ozzie goes out of his way to take care of his little province and tends to be very busy helping Prime with offerings and prayers

Cain was meant to be the carrier for Xerxes, the god of order. Xerxes thought he was fugly so told Eris to just keep him. Cain’s definitely not going to have a power trip knowing this information and being in charge of a small settlement…

Sonata is the youngest, and she’s the carrier for the god of communication. She’s a funny little teenage girl who shows up to visit her family solely to bother them (she loves her mom though)
