A few more details on the railtruck.

Starting to work on the passenger area on the truck bed.

The still is out on the layout! It is somewhat hidden due to the clandestine activities...

Assembly all the little details onto the still scene.

Spring is sprung at the Durango and Jasper. Here are a couple of trees that are (imho) pretty cool. The top one is in the town of Durango and is a corokia cotoneaster (a “Little Prince”) and is showing flowers, which is awesome. The lower one is a Japanese maple and we’re starting to bonsai form it, beginning by pruning away the branches that don’t lean toward the left. We’ll continue shaping it over time (Nancy Norris mentioned both wiring it and adding weights to some branches to get them in the shape we want). Now that leaves are coming in it is easier to see how it will look (windblown) when it is further along.

Very short video showing the railtruck. All electronics and wiring is in final shape, lights work, cab is weathered and driver + boxes installed, etc. So far so good...

Adding some details: lights attached, driver + boxes of beans in the cab, gas tank holder added (reprinting gas tank so it is a bit better and of course have to paint it).

Tucking away the electronics in the railtruck. Also painted the “rust” on the cab which will be painted over with the real color, then partially exposed where rust should be.
