Day - 1 ( Day 01: Dehradun )

• Dehradun is our main base for the Heli-Tours. It is the starting & ending point. • Heli provides a complimentary stay on the date of arrival, but no meals are included – which can be included at an additional cost. • Passengers are picked up from Dehradun Airport/railway station/bus stand. Please note, arrival details must be provided to Heli at the time of booking. • Passengers should try to reach Dehradun by 02:00 pm, or earlier, so that they are completely ready to start their Chardham journey the next day early morning. • In the evening, our team will be doing the tour briefing to the passengers, & provide them duffel bags for carrying only necessary things on the trip – Up to 5 kg/person will be permitted.

 

Day - 2 ( Day 02: Yamunotri Dham Sahastradhara to Yamunotri )

05:00 Hrs. Check out from Dehradun hotel 06:00 Hrs. ETD from Sahastradhara Helidrome 06:30 Hrs. ETA at Kharsali Heli-Base • This is starting day of the Chardham yatra. Passengers will check-out early morning from the hotel at 05:00 am. They will be picked-up from the Hotel by our staff, & taken to Sahastradhara Helidrome. • Heli has its own Heli-base in Kharsali, where our ground staff would welcome the passengers. The staff will then get the passengers settled in the hotel, which is at a walking distance from the helipad. • After breakfast, passengers will be taken for Yamunotri Darshan. • Approximate time taken for Yamunotri Temple Darshan: Approximately 05hrs 30mins (round-trip). Yamunotri trek is 06 km one-way. • Sightseeing at Kharsali: Hot Spring at Yamunotri Temple, Yamuna Mata Temple, Shani Temple.

 

Day - 3 ( Day 03: Gangotri Dham Yamunotri to Gangotri )

06:30 Hrs. ETD from Kharsali Heli-Base 07:00 Hrs. ETA at Harsil/Jhalla Helipad • Passengers will check-out by 05:30 hrs. Departure from Kharsali will be at 0630 hrs, & the estimated time of arrival at Harsil/Jhalla will be 0700 hrs. • Jhalla –Heli’s second own Heli-base in the Chardham sector. After landing at Jhalla, passengers will be taken to Harsil village & checked-in the hotel. • Harsil – The second destination of our tour, also known for the extensive apple orchards there, is the most scenic and beautiful destination of this tour. • Passengers will be taken for Gangotri Dham darshan after breakfast. • Approximate Time taken for Gangotri Temple Darshan: 3hrs 30 mins (round-trip). The road distance to Gangotri temple is approx. 25 km, which is roughly a 50-minute drive. • Sightseeing at Harsil: Harsil has many places & natures walks around to explore. Passengers will be taken to explore any of the following: Bagodi Village walk / Short trek to Chholmi village / Nature walk from Jhalla / Shiv Temple in Harsil.

 

Day - 4 ( Day 04: Kedarnath Dham Gangotri to Sersi )

07:00 Hrs. ETD from Harsil/Jhalla Helipad 07:30 Hrs. ETA at Sersi Heli-Base • Passengers will be checked-out by 06:00 hrs. Arrival at Sersi will be by 0730 hrs. • Sersi –Heli’s third, and the oldest, own Heli-base in the Chardham sector. We operate the shuttle services for Kedarnath ji shrine from here. • Passengers will be ferried to Kedarnath Dham for darshan in a shuttle services flight, after their breakfast. • Approximate time taken for Kedarnath Temple Darshan: 02 hours. The shuttle services flight Sersi to Kedarnath is approx. 07 minutes long. • Sightseeing at Sersi: Triyuginarayan Temple – It is the venue of the celestial marriage of Lord Shiva & Goddess Parvati, or Gaurikund.

 

Day - 5 ( Day 05: Badrinath Dham Sersi to Badrinath )

08:00 Hrs. ETD from Sersi Heli-Base 08:30 Hrs. ETA at Badrinath Helipad • Passengers will have breakfast by 07:00 hrs. at Sersi & be ready for their flight to Badrinath by 0800 hrs. • Passengers will be taken for darshan to Badrinath temple in the afternoon after lunch. • Approximate time taken for Badrinath Temple Darshan: Approx. 01-1.5 Hrs. is taken to have darshan at the Badrinath Temple. Passengers will be taken from hotel to the temple by car. • Sightseeing at Badrinath: Mana Village – Known as the ‘Last village of India’, due to its proximity to the China border. Evening Aarti at Badrinath Temple – Swaran/Chandi Aarti (on additional payment basis directly at Badrinath).

 

Day - 6 ( Day 06: Dehradun Badrinath to Sahastradhara )

08:30 Hrs. ETD from Badrinath Helipad 09:30 Hrs. ETA at Sahastradhara Helidrome • Passengers who have pre-booked Maha Abhishek Puja, have to be ready early morning by 0330 hrs. Puja shall take place from 04:30 hrs. to 06:30 hrs. • Badrinath ji hotel check-out time is 0730 hrs. • Estimated time of arrival will be 0930 hrs. at Sahastradhara. On arrival, our team will be present to receive the passengers. Later, they will be taken to Dehradun hotel to collect the luggage from cloak rooms, and then be dropped to airport/railway station. • In case passengers would like to spend an additional night at Dehradun, accommodation can be arranged by Abd holiday at an additional cost. The same must be informed to us at the time of booking. • After the final transfer, we will bid farewell to the passengers. This is the end of the Chardham yatra.

A visit to these holy shrines together forms the Chota Chardham Yatra in India. All these famous sacred destinations are being located in the astonishing Himalayan foothills of Uttarakhand. Yatra Start from 15/05/2018 to 30/10/2018. DAY 01 : DELHI Arrive Delhi: On arrival at the Delhi International Airport you will be welcomed and greeted with flowers by our Tour Representative. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi. DAY 02 : DELHI –HARIDWAR (210 Km /06-07 Hrs) After breakfast drive to Haridwar On arrival at Haridwar and check in hotel. In the evening, proceed to Har Ki Pauri to enjoy Ganga Aarti on the banks of Ganges. Overnight stay at Haridwar. DAY 03 : HARIDWAR – BARKOT (205 Km/07-08 Hrs) This morning depart for Barkot, located on the foot of Yamunotri. Drive via Mussoorie and visit Kempty Falls on the way. DAY 04 : BARKOT – KHARSALI – YAMUNOTRI – BARKOT (48 Km/01-02 Hrs & Start trek 05 KM Each Side) After breakfast, depart for Hanumanchatti (40 Km), Janki Chatti (8 km). Here you will begin the First Pahad Yatra of Yamunotri (5 Km trek). You can hire a Doli or a horse, for your trek (Cost Not Included). The trek passes through lush green valley, a profusion of conifers, rhododendrons, cacti and several species of Himalayan shrubs. Yamunotri (altitude 3,291 m), the western most shrine of the Char Dhams, is dominated by Banderpunch (6,361 m). Yamunotri is the source of the river Yamuna, the twin sister of Varna, the Lord of Death. Yamuna is also the daughter of Surya the Sun. The actual source of the river originates from Champasar Glacier 1 km a head of the shrine, at an altitude of 4,321 mts. On arrival by afternoon in Yamunotri take holy dip in Yamuna River and perform Pooja, and take the same route back to Barkot, check in at Hotel or Camp. Overnight stay at hotel in Barkot. DAY 05 : BARKOT – UTTARKASHI (100 Km/03-04 Hrs) After breakfast drive to Uttarkashi. On arrival check in into the hotel. Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi and is famous for its historical monuments, Temples & Ashrams. In the evening, Visit the famous Vishwanath Temple. Dinner and Overnight stay at Uttarkashi. DAY 06 : UTTARKASHI – GANGOTRI – UTTARKASHI (54 Km/01-02 Hrs) Early morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Gangotri. Nestled in the magnificent Garhwal Himalayas, Gangotri is set at an altitude of 3048 mts. Upon arrival at Gangotri take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin Visit the Gangotri Temple. The 18th century’s temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga is located near a sacred stone where King Bhagirathi worshipped Lord Shiva. Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite. After performing Pooja Late afternoon drive back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi. DAY 07 : UTTARKASHI – GUPTKASHI/SITAPUR (190 Km/08-09 Hrs) After early morning breakfast check out from the hotel and drive for Guptkashi/Rampur/Sitapur. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day free to explore the Guptkashi town. Overnight stay hotel/Camps. DAY 08 : GUPTKASHI – SONPRAYAG – KEDARNATH (30 Km/01 Hrs, 20 Km trek) Early morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Sonprayag. From where, you will start your 20 km trek to Kedarnath. You can hire a Doli or a horse, for your trek (Cost Not Included). Mandakini, one of the main tributaries of the Ganges originates at Kedarnath and flows through Gaurikund. Trudging with you are pilgrims chanting “Jai Bholenath.” Sometimes the mist would envelop the mountains and slowly lift away, revealing a shiny blinding-white peak that threatens to rupture the skies. On arrival check in at Govt. Camps/Lodges. Dinner and Overnight at hotel/Camps/Lodges. DAY 09 : KEDARNATH – SONPRAYAG – SITAPUR (20 Km trek& 05 Km drive to hotel) Early morning you get up before dawn and after taking bath you are at the temple by 4:45 am for the ‘Abhishek’ to Kedarnath Shiva. Everyone can go inside Garbha Griha and touch the idol. You can also prostrate with your head touching the deity etc. After darshan and puja you come out of the temple and return to the Camps / Lodges. Later you’ll start the return trek of 20 km from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. Overnight at Sitapur or Rampur. DAY 10 : SITAPUR – JOSHIMATH – BADRINATH (227 Km/08-09 Hrs) This morning, you check out of the hotel at 06:00 am and drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. After driving through some wonderful Ghat road you arrive at Badrinath. On arrival check into the hotel. After some rest and refreshments you are all set to go to Badrinath Temple for darshan in the evening. But first you have to go to Tapt Kund (Hot Spring), take bath and then go to the temple. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the temple of Shri Badrinath Ji is 15 meters in height, built in the form of a cone with a small cupola of a gilt bull and spire. Overnight stay at hotel. DAY 11 : BADRINATH – JOSHIMATH – RUDRAPRAYAG (165 Km/05-06 Hrs) This morning go for Badrinath darshan. After darshan return back to hotel, breakfast at hotel and proceed for Badrinath local sightseeing visit Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti temple. Afternoon driver back to Rudraprayag via Karanprayag. Rudraprayag is a small pilgrim town on the holy confluence of river Alaknanda and Mandakini. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day free to explore the Rudraprayag town. Overnight stay at hotel. DAY 12 : RUDRAPRAYAG – SRINAGAR – DEVPRAYAG – RISHIKESH – HARIDWAR (160 Km/05-06 Hrs) Early morning, after breakfast, you drive downhill to Rishikesh a spiritual city and the Yoga capital of the world.
