i posted a twt ramble thread that i have regarding sonadow and narumitsu and how they are, coincidentally enough, literally the sources of my brainrot. i just got into narumitsu earlier january (and i can't fathom how it took me this long) so i can't say with confidence that i'm very well aware on the exact playthrough of all ace attorney games (narumitsu got me on a chokehold and here i was going along with it) so please bear with me if there are any inaccuracies!

with that being said, allow me to copypaste the exact words from my tweets.

i just realized that another similarity narumitsu and sonadow share is the fact that edgeworth/shadow have previously hurt wright/sonic in some way and later on he had grown to respect/care for the latter that i just think. edgeworth could absolutely mirror shadow's words here.

sonic and wright have some savior/hero complex going on like i think that should be acknowledged bc they both have tendencies to be impulsive enough to head into the scene without a clearer plan in mind (in this case however i believe post-disbarred wright is a lot more careful when it comes to planning [7 years of investigating kristoph gavin is, by all means, A LOT of planning] but then again he's still the same man who bluffs his way to the right answer in court) and they're both the type of ppl to always put people first before themselves.

edgeworth and wright have been around each other long enough for edgeworth to not be blind against wright's heroic sacrifices. even though they had a whole conversation in the past about how edgeworth says they're not "heroes" and that "their job is to always seek the truth no matter what."

…ok i went off a tangent BUT what i meant to say is. edgeworth has hurt wright with his own actions. he knows this, just like wright (absolutely) does.

in the context of the sonic idw pic above, eggman lost his memory and became "mr tinker", who no longer seemed to be evil.

(here are some pics that i didn't add in my twt thread just to show you what i mean by eggman's amnesiac self, mr tinker.)

sonic wanted to give mr tinker a chance, especially bc the witnesses around him said that mr tinker had been nothing but helpful to everyone. shadow, however, thinks how ridiculous that is—eggman may've lost his memory, but the memories of those who were hurt under him weren't lost at all.

be it in a context where wright and edgeworth happen to find themselves in a similar dilemma. edgeworth finds wright's idea to give a notorious criminal like de killer a chance—because he happened to lose his memory and was seen being very… not-so-assassin-like—preposterous.

Edgeworth: "Have you forgotten that he made you suffer? That he had held Miss Fey for ransom? That—for the love of god—that he's caused enough trouble for all of us already? How can you even suggest leniency for him after all that?"

Wright: "Heh, you tried to convict Maya in the past too, remember? You said it yourself—you only cared about your perfect win record, that you'd do anything to make sure you sought out that 'Guilty' verdict, letting the innocent stay 'falsely accused'. So—what? You want me to take you out with de Killer? After all, if he can't be forgiven, can you?"

(i wrote this conversation in [almost] the same way that had happened in the first sonic idw scene above, and the same scene that i'll show a pic of right now.)

i added the next two paragraphs after i had been presumably done with my thread, because i was a bit scared to clarify beforehand that i, truth to be told once again, am not completely in too deep in the stories of ace attorney.

to be fair, i think i need to mention that while wright (looks like he) has long forgiven edgeworth for the demon prosecutor front he had inhibited in the earlier years, i doubt that there aren't exactly any lingering feelings (definitely remorse, if that was unclear) that edgeworth would at least have, if not wright.

though i suppose edgeworth had allowed himself to be vulnerable around wright.... it's not out of the question that wright would make sure those burdens would weigh him all the same. plus, they both work hard to fix the law system together so. it's not like wright wouldn't understand him. they've both been with each other in their lowest, guiltiest point of lives after all.

Other fun points beyond Claude’s real name.

A lot of my headcanons have been confirmed!

Silver Snow was the first route written (maybe that’s why it’s the weakest? It took them a while to find their Mojo)

El wasn’t just a driving figure in the plot but also in the writing process, ie, the other lords were then developed as contrasts.

Dimitri’s eyepatch was also improv apparently one person just randomly suggested it halfway through, the original model was then used for CF. It was intended to show that he had a hard life in the last 5 years

They say they took some influence from “Romance of the Three Kingdoms”

CF was indeed intended as a “secret” hidden route holding a distinct place - it was originally supposed to be harder to unlock - they also underestimated how many players would always go explore on the first day (apparently the option is only open in the first day - which makes sense, later she’s already departed)

Edelgard is indeed Byleth’s foil/ counterpart / rival / contrast as someone with roughly equal power

So developement wise you might draw some parallels to Elsa (the developers gradually realized this character had more potential as a hero than a villain/ was actually pretty sympathetic - part of why they made joining her easier) and also Rika from Digimon Tamers (they realized the figurines of the girl characters didn’t sell, so they made the primary girl the ‘rival character’ which always sells. Rika was indeed hugely popular, probably because your average anime ‘rival character’ tends to be complex, cool,  and one of the most powerful chars in the setting)

Lysithea was indeed just a prototype, Edelgard had a much more advanced procedure done on her (hence why she generally seems a lot more “super”)

They originally planned for her to be able to stop/interfere with divine pulse but that didn’t end up making it into the final game

You have to consider that a game is not a book or a movie - something might be a cool concept on its own but if its implementation is annoying to the player it’s worthless

However I will take this as confirmation to my headcanon that she has some mild timewarping going on, and that this is what happens when she can attack multiple times (as per ‘raging storm’ or in her Hegemon form)

An aspect that I didn’t personally consider but adds to my observations of how Rhea is a really interesting take on the concept of a demigod: They stress that to her Sothis doesn’t just represent her mother but also the creator/ her god. She very much does worship her and has goals beyong just wanting back a family member

(Indeed she does tell Byleth that she can’t wait until “Our creator rules this wayward land once more”)

And here’s yet another account of the war of heroes. In this i must admit defeat because others called this and I didn’t:

The Nabateans were in fact ruling over humans, and people were in fact resisting/standing up to that

The Agarthans having their own sinister motives,  invented the methods to make crests/ relics

At this point you DO get greed and powerlust involved - people like Nemesis started trying to kill dragons to gain their power left and right and the balance of power shifted

Rhea didn’t so much “make” the Elites into heroes - The (human) people really did see them as liberators and that was too big to change, so Seiros kept the broad strokes manipulating the details so that all tied back to the goddess.

So they replaced an aristocracy of Nabateans by an aristocracy of people with Nabatean-like powers. There’s an interesting dynamic here

So Edelgard was almost completely right.

That said I still get the impression that Nemesis was definitely in it for the power and still massacred civilians.  He’s like the Ten Elites’ secretly evil teammate.

So on the one hand, Rhea didn’t do this unscrupulous act of making people she hates into heroes just for control, on the other hand the war of Heroes was alot more muddy

On the other hand this makes Silver Snow a bad end in my book. “Happiness in Slavery”.

I did talk about how SS didn’t have Byleth growing out of their character flaws the ways the other routes, but now... wow they were a tool until the end

I still can’t believe that Sothis, Seteth or Flayn are evil though, Sothis seems compassionate and disliked Rhea’s methods - but was she even around then, actually? Because she was asleep for a long time after the war with the Agarthans. So the Nabateans, perhaps already under Rhea’s leadership, were already semi-corrupt.

(That obviously doesn’t justify slaughtering them all down to the last child - Zanado was the civilian population)

Seteth might have been as much of a tool now as then. Though I still hold to my opinion that he’s the last one to hold to Sothis’ “real” mission - which was guard not rule

Of course Rhea believed almost to the last that guarding was precisely what she was doing

Heavens this has so many layers and complexities I love it I want to make a full drawn out novel based on a similar premise

That said they specify very clearly that Seiros and co really did just want to keep the peace. They are benevolent/ paternalistic overlords basically

Almyra seems to have an “Ottoman Harem” situation going on where the King has multiple wives and the heir is whoever is worthiest/strongest rather than the eldest. So from the beginning Claude had many rivals as if the bullying he experienced wasn’t bad enough

So Claude/Khalid is different from Dimitri who was always the rightful crown prince, and Edelgard who never expected to inherit and suddenly found herself catapulted up the line of succession. For him it was always a “maybe”.  

This is an interesting contrast to Edelgard. Her father also had many concubines but it seems she had a good relationship with her siblings regardless.

“He won’t hesitate to plea for his life and considers survival as the ultimate victory. That’s also why Claude is the character who survives in every route. “

The original plan was to slip up and have Nader call him the wrong name. i see why they cut it, it would make everyone involved look like they don’t take the situation seriously

The moment in non-GD routes where he couldn’t predict that Hilda and Judith would sacrifice themselves is ascribed to him “having different values than the people in fodlan”. Ouch. So good at reading people but the cultural difference still bit him in the ass at the worst possible moment.

If you see the Church as Seiros as an analogue to a corrupt medieval church, this certainly fits with the common observation by ppl of different backgrounds that christian countries tend to have an undercurrent of glorifying suffering and self-sacrifice in ways that seem masochistic to ppl from other backgrounds or even local non-believers

The beard was supposed to make him look “adventurous”

“He’s a very good guy” - I mean, yeah.  

The timeskip designs were supposed to “radiate their life style over the last five years” - I certainly see that with, say, Dimitri or Bernadetta

ik some ppl are upset about how they handled dean and cas but i actually really like how tragic it is, a happy ending for them wouldn’t fit imo. leaving dean with this huge revelation, that either his feelings were requited and now he’s lost his great love all in the same moment, or that his best friend was heartbroken for so long because he wanted something more knowing that dean didn’t feel the same, it’s phenomenal. i think it’s gonna serve as a huge catalyst for dean in that he’s going to become simultaneously more focused and more reckless in his endeavors to end chuck because he has a lot less to lose and a lot more to fight for, to make sure cas’ sacrifice isn’t in vain (which would be so beyond tragic, i don’t think i’d ever recover if supernatural’s endgame is failure like bbc merlin’s was, though i think it would aid in fandom longevity as it did with merlin, but i don’t think that’s a major area of concern for the showrunners given the length of the series, which indicates a popularity that is transferable between generations. i also think by making destiel canon, they’ve marked themselves as a technically queer show which is gonna help keep it at the forefront of a large community as a popular successful series with a techincally queer lead [i say techincally because for a large part of the series this aspect of the character was not addressed at all and very little indication, if any, of his status as queer is included throughout the majority of the series so it’s like yes now he’s queer and can be considered so, but i’m not sure if the series did enough to be able to make that claim, yk?], though that status is definitely not stable given the overwhelming lack of romantic/sexual engagement between the people concerned in the queer ‘love story’, but i digress). to surmise, the bittersweet (emphasis on bitter) canonization and immediate subsequent end of destiel is no doubt disappointing, but much more realistic and ‘in-tune’ with the mood the series is championing this season. to have a happy ending for the most fought for couple in the series would lighten the mood, and potentially ebb dean’s drive to end chuck, which is not something the series can afford to do. creating such a devastating end really just, imo, emphasizes the intensity of the love cas felt for dean (as he stayed with him despite the heartache he must’ve felt knowing they could not move their relationship away from brotherhood) and the lengths to which he would go for him, choosing to let him live by sacrificing himself by confessing his love meaning that there is no possibility for him to experience that relationship with dean ever, instead of condemning them both to death. so yeah it sucks, but it’s also the most incredible, agonizingly tragic and equally beautiful, totally in-tune ending i think we could have gotten.

EDIT: like besides the fact that it might be HEAVILY HOMOPHOBIC bc cas basically comes out and then goes to super hell immediately after, i think it’s the only way destiel could have ended like there was no happy ending for them, and to have it happen that way where cas 1. realizes his happiness isn’t dependent on someone else or something else, it’s about what he makes out of his own situation, 2. does what he believes to be his duty, protecting dean and the world (which can be considered synonymous in this case), and 3. gets closure on both his feelings and his purpose in the world as he does his part to save it (HOPEFULLY)

EP 3 AND I CANT KEEP UP

1. tlt3 is paced fairly good right now. I hope it keeps this up.

2. I’m happy to see I still love the a Ning and wu xie pair scenes again. What I loved in tlt2 is how when they interact they bring out the most authentic versions of themselves. And how a Ning admires his kind nature but is trying to teach him to wise up if he wants to live this life. It very much still feels like this dynamic when they get scenes together. The two scenes in particular: wu xie asking her why she chose this life, and how she replies she only has one path and it’s like how Wu xie is resolute he wants to help Xiaoge, that’s how resolute she is in her choice - it’s the only life for her. That writing had some fucking layers. About how whatever a nings up to must mean Everyrhing to her. How she thinks Xiaoge means Everything to wu xie and that’s a certain thing. How they both sit in the quiet together after, contemplating how they’re so certain about these life dedications they’ve got. Just wow ok though. A Ning comparing her goal she values as everything, to wu xie wanting to help Xiaoge... a Ning you did not have to clock him so hard lol. But I will give it this, a nings written right. Even if I’m still not completely used to the actress yet. And the other scene: her telling wu xie if a partner is hurt, he needs to prioritize himself or he could cause more trouble - and wu xie replying no matter what I won’t leave a partner. That hints of foreshadowing for one. For two, it’s a great establishment of their characters in contrast to each other. And third, it shows how I really do feel like in the long term a ning is very much a role model/guide he sort of grows up more and more like as the years pass. Yeah, he wants to be less brutal than her, care for ppl more. But over time he really does learn a lot from her about how to life this kind of life more successfully. Also a Ning disapproves of how he makes choices but she does want to help him - and this kind of advice is her trying to help him survive. So I liked that scene a lot. Also I missed that A Ning... just I love her personality! So I love when it shows more!

3. Ok this Xiaoge is growing on me a lot. He also really just. Screams the book Xiaoge in my head when I read. He’s acting well. And the scenes Xiaoge is concerned about wu xie? Uncountable. It’s really only episode 3 and xiaoge already almost thought wu xie was dead - bee lining for wu xie’s coat on a corpse - got scared, realized it wasn’t wu xie, killed a bug so harsh Pangzi had to comment AND bring up Xiaoge’s worried about him. And like. I can’t even summarize it’s just nonstop tbh. And honestly? Happy about it. The whole time tlt2 progressed I was like... Xiaoge I know you’re worried.. disappear less bro... and I wanted THIS. Which I got in tlt2 to some level, but not as much because Xiaoge was Not always in the storyline. At least so far (and I HOPE the whole show pleaser) Xiaoge has been in every tlt3 ep, so his personal state and the story follows him partly each episode. And that is what I WANTED so muchhhh so I’m really happy it’s happening. Like yes on one level it means pingxie abounds since hey Xiaoge is past fallen by now and just clueing into how intensely he most certainly Does care about one thing in this world, a thing that happens to care about him back very very much and wants to accompany Xiaoge on this trip for answers. I love that Xiaoge said last ep “I’ll stand by you” as if promising not to leave, this ep giving a walkie talkie promising they’ll keep in contact silently, and that everyone is quite aware Xiaoge would let em all die except wu xie - and wu xie would do anything Period for xiaoge. Ahhhh a Ning. Really called wu xie out on that. If the writing does something fun, it’ll use that against them and really screw wu xie over by demanding he does do something Huge to help Xiaoge. It will be dramatic, angsty, horrifying, let’s GO make wu xie sacrifice it All let’s Go. Anyway yeah like... while I love that it basically includes pingxie more as a result (drowning in it compared to reboot lol)... I also just love that this is mainly because we GET MORE XIAOGE FOCUS. Which is all I have been wanting since I started the lost tomb 1!!! I just want more Xiaoge and more about who he is, what he thinks and feels, what he wants, I want more of his story!!! And I feel like this is ar least right now giving me some. But... we’ll see. Because I thought tlt2 would give me more Xiaoge (and it did compared to tlt1), but then tlt2 also constantly had him disappearing for eps at a time ;-;

GASAAHHHH THAT OIKAWA RANT WAS SO LONG IM SO SORRY BUT HERES SUGA (more like just comparing suga and oikawa but that’s ok ALSO none of this makes sense i hate it here bye) ;—;

honestly, ima be real here - suga was one of those people i instantly fell in love with. it was like the polar opposite of how i felt about oikawa (i’ll get to that in a moment.) i saw him and my heart went !!! and i loved him! there’s no other way for it. i classified him as the sweet boy of karasuno, and in some ways that is correct. but OP’s analysis of him has me thinking (as everything does LOL) and now, looking back to every scene that includes him, i slap myself for not realizing sooner just how AMAZING sugawara koushi is.

once again, like OP said, sugawara is so so quick to dismiss his own needs and jealousy. when it comes down to himself and the team, his ability to completely erase himself from the situation is.... frightening. he is able to put the needs of everyone else before his, which is, in some cases, good, but also uhhh- definitely not lol. which honestly brings me back to oikawa (UGH ik ik i cant shut up about bitchboy).

oikawa and suga are introduced in haikyuu as two completely different people. which- they are! but the difference in them is prominent to a viewer who has never seen either before. while suga is introduced as this warm, optimistic person who’s ready to help his team, oikawa is introduced as...well, the villain. he’s the big boss everyone needs to beat. with almost everyone i’ve talked to, they’ve admitted to loving suga and hating oikawa at first. but they’re similar!

both suga and oikawa have dealt with the force that is known as kageyama. kageyama has always been that presence in their mind that irritates them; suga is more lowkey about it, while oikawa is obviously very vocal and external in his responses. but both feel overshadowed by their junior, which i find hella interesting - because they both seem to dislike each other when competing in the spot for nationals. kageyama is the thing they share in common- but! the way they approach it is the key in how their characters differ.

sugawara takes kageyama’s appearance as a challenge, but ultimately gives up. he comes to the realization that, for the better of the team, he should sacrifice his sets and his hunger to win. oikawa somehow becomes more self-centered when kageyama comes into the picture. he is more power-hungry and anxious to win and prove himself, rather than back down.

IDK MAN. suga just makes me realize just how lucky some of us are to be where we are right now. sugawara koushi is probably one of the most selfless people i know, yet he’s also so,,,, how do i put this,,,,, ambitious? he is also always searching for more, but in a TEAM. he is so so so supportive, always reaching, always being the one ppl can fall back on and he guides them to where they need to be. he seems firm in his resolve that he can be that natural leader that yes, does have mom qualities, but also can be a bit harsh and a bit impulsive in his actions. he sacrifices and some people don’t even realize it. and yet he ALSO keeps going, no matter what, just like oikawa (yet probably not as fiery lol)

so. if i’m being honest. they would be best friends lol THIS WAS ALL JUST SO MUCH BRAINROT IM SO SORRY I HAVE SUCH STRONG FEELINFS ABOUT THESE TWO BUT NONW OF IT MAKES SENSE I JUST WANNA GIVE THEM BOTH BIG HUGS AND TELL THEM THEYRE DOING AMAZINF —🧸

again, i love how you phrased all of this because yeah! Suga and Oikawa both have to deal with someone more talented than themselves, they just both go about it in a different way and AHHHHH i fuckin glove it because there isn’t one “right” or “better” way. it depends on who it is and all of that.

The new recruit grumbles as he hurries on over to the pub where Floch had told him Eren would be. He pushes through the crowded streets, muttering under his breath. He doesn’t understand why Floch, a seasoned veteran who actually knows Eren, hadn’t gone himself to fetch the revolutionary leader. Even though the man had claimed he was busy with the new revolution, it seemed to the soldier that Floch simply liked to wave his gun around and feel important. He’d never say that out loud, of course. Despite his dislike for the revolutionist, he still believes in the cause and is willing to fight side by side with the man. Of course, the rumors about Floch and his sadistic ideas for those who threaten to defect also help the soldier keep his mouth shut.

In truth, he doesn’t mind the task. It’s far easier and less sneaky than assignments given to others – influencing the minds of young trainees that are on the fence about joining the Jaegerists, meeting with nobles in secret to request funds to support the cause, or feeding information to Marley volunteers that are on their side. Finding a person sounds easy in comparison, although the soldier thinks it would be much easier if he only knew what the person looked like. Floch, of course, did not offer to give him a description.

“You’ll know when you see him,” Floch had said, waving the soldier away without another word.

The soldier gave a simple salute and turned to leave, not bothering to ask any further questions because he knew Floch would refuse to give him any answers. Instead, he decided to follow the few directions that were given to him before he left.

He ends up wandering into a bar. It is one that he has passed by many times but never actually entered because he had no reason to. Even if he were of age to drink, he would never step foot in such an establishment unless he absolutely had to. Compared to the new pubs opened by Marleyans that carry gin and rum from overseas, this tavern is unrefined and has little to offer aside from the Eldian beers that have been around for centuries. Still, it manages to attract a decent amount of customers every night, drunken patrons who come for a cheap bottle of wine to share with friends…but not tonight.

The soldier is surprised when he approaches the bar and notices that the loud cheers and laughs are nowhere to be heard. Cautiously, he reaches for the door and pushes it open, wondering if there will anyone at all inside. The sight astounds him.

There are bottles of every liquor imaginable on the floor – vodka, whiskey, rum, gin. All are empty, not a single drop remains inside. The soldier isn’t quite sure how to walk without stepping on them, so he treads carefully, making sure to sweep away the empty bottles to clear a walkway as best as he can. He nearly has a heart attack when he almost treads on someone’s fingers.

Looking around, he realizes that the pub is not only covered in empty bottles but also drunken patrons who couldn’t hold their liquor. As he walks in further, he wonders what caused these men to drink so much. People are slumped across the floors and tables, their mouths hanging open and with sweat and beer staining their clothes. They’ve done this to themselves, he knows, but he still can’t help but pity them as he glances over at their sleeping forms. He’s sure that they’ll all be waking up with a wicked hangover in the morning.

He wonders if Eren Jaeger is among these people, and he hates the thought of sifting through these bodies to find the leader of the revolution. He’s about to begin looking, but he looks up and sees that there are still two people sitting at the bar. As he steps closer, he sees that both are awake. One is the bartender, a stoic expression on his face as if he’s seen this sight before. The other is a man with long dark hair, his back turned to the soldier.

The soldier isn’t sure what he had thought Eren Jaeger would look like. He’s only heard of him from others about the man’s quest to find freedom for everyone, the sacrifices he’s made for them, and the immense power he holds. If he had to conjure up an idea of what such a revolutionary would look like, he would come up with the image of a man with a strong jaw, dark hair that’s slicked back, and bright eyes that are able to see further than anyone else could imagine. This haggard man, thin and tall with dark hair down to his shoulders, doesn’t look anything like what a revolutionary leader should look like, and yet the soldier’s breath still hitches when the man turns around and looks at him with piercing gray eyes. He stares at the soldier so intensely that the soldier is sure the man’s not drunk at all, and he wonders if it’s because the man has hardly had a drop or if it’s because he’s managed to outdrink everyone in this bar and doesn’t feel a thing. Somehow, the soldier knows it’s the latter.

The soldier tries to speak, but he seems to have lost his voice. He stares at the man in front of him, opening and closing his mouth like a fish out of water. It’s only when the man turns back around, tapping the bar in front of him to signal the bartender for another drink, that the soldier finally manages to find his voice. “Are you…are you Eren Jaeger?” the soldier asks.

The man does not reply right away. Instead, he waits for the bartender to pour his whiskey, and it seems as though a century has passed. “I am,” the man replies, picking up his glass. He does not look at the soldier when he speaks nor does he ask for his name. He simply taps the bar once more, and the bartender places down another glass and begins pouring. It is only then that the man turns his head, gesturing for the soldier to join him. “Care for a drink?”

The soldier knows that he should decline lest he wants to wind up like the other patrons of this bar. Still, he walks towards the bar and takes a seat beside the man. He reaches for the glass, but his eyes are on Eren Jaeger as he replies, “Yes.”

Oh my goodness, I am glad I had immunity for that tribal. It was pretty clear cut it was going to be Ginny but still sad to see Ginny go. Now that Julia and Ginny are gone, I am excited and nervous to see what is coming next. I have no idea who will be going next. Also, I love that I was voted more trust worthy, but being voted most likely to flip on their alliance is a big oof and puts a big target on me.

Raffy

DeNara, Steven, and I hopped on a call after that emotional tribal council. We've come to the conclusion that a newbie needs to go in this next tribal council or it's going to be a mess. The newbie we have decided on is... Madi. Yes. We do plan to betray one of our closest allies at the moment. She's been playing an excellent game and she needs to be voted out sooner rather than later. Additionally, she is the one we suspect of having the idol. So, this needs to be a complete and utter blindside. For now, the plan is to tell Madi and Gian to target Rachel. Then, we get Elle to vote with us to target Madi. That would make the vote 4-3-1 which would lead to Madi being voted out. This plan has a lot of risk, but i's not Survivor if it isn't risky.

Okay so here is how things would go down if I had my way right now (even though I know that is unlikely). I would love to start by flipping on my alliance of 5 and working with Elle, Steven and Raffy to get Madi out and then Gian since they are the biggest newbie threats. After that I would then flip with the girls (and hopefully Steven) to get Raffy out of the game. That would leave Steven, Elle, Rachel, Anastasia, and myself in the game. Since Rachel has a relationship with Anastasia I would take her out next, leaving Steven, Elle, Anastasia, and myself in the game. I would then hopefully go to the end with 2 of those three. I feel like because I get along best with Steven and Elle right now I would like them to be in the final three with me even if I lose. My biggest concern right now is if Raffy is playing me since I got voted "most likely to flip on my alliance". So Raffy is someone I am paying close attention too.

I want either Elle or myself to win. If Elle wins, that forces Gian and Madi to target Rachel this round which would go perfectly with the plan I've laid out. If I win, I can fully go for this plan without any hesitation. That's why I am going all out for this challenge. I apologize in advance to Jay who will have to go through all the submissions, but I have to do what I gotta do considering I cannot go outside due to a snowstorm.

Man, this is such a tough game. The immunity challenge was hard, but i think as long as our majority newbies stick together, we will have control over the vote and who goes home. i'm glad to see elle won though! she is a great competitor. i still love that i got most honest and most likely to lie. i guess it shows how crazy of a game i'm playing socially

OK, so in order for this Raffy blindside to work PERFECTLY. He can’t catch wind of this plan because he’ll play his safety without power, which is a huge no no. We’ll be able to pull in Elle for this. If that happens, we fear DeNara might be a bad back up bc she’ll have something OR Elle won’t vote with us. So in this scenario of options, Steven is a great back up option.  This works to my advantage because that means if for some reason, my alliance tries to retaliate against me, Steven won’t be here for numbers.

I won immunity again 😅 ugh in hindsight I regret it. I wasn't really thinking gameplay-wise, more just "I have been given a challenge, time to go ham" 🔥🔥🔥  I should've maybe talked to my alliance abt it, though 😭. So I just made an alliance with DeNara and Steven and my newbies alliance is wanting DeNara out. Our main target is Raffy but if Raffy plays an idol we will try to split the vote to DeNara which wouldn't be good for me if DeNara went home. I need the newbies and DeNara to fight so the attention is off of me. So I want her here. Hopefully Raffy will just not have an idol for one second

I've confirmed the plan with Elle to take out Madi. The Wild Faes alliance (Elle, Steven, DeNara, and I) are fully down to take out a newbie this round. That newbie will be Madi if all goes well. Madi and Gian seem to believe that the vote will be Rachel tonight. They confirmed it in the alliance chat. Additionally, they told me that Rachel wanted to target Steven this round. I believe that Steven is a bigger shield for me than I am for him. It has always been his name thrown out than mine since merge began. Last night, I confirmed a Final 2 deal with Steven. It is my belief that I do not have a shot if Steven isn't there so they cannot use the excuse of "well, he already won before." We discussed that, ideally, Anastasia would be our third in the Final 3. This is because Anastasia is the biggest goat around while Elle/DeNara could make a really strong case for themselves. Finally, Elle offered to give me her immunity necklace tonight, but I had to decline. If that happened, that would make Madi and Gian shift their gears to Elle which wouldn't work for the plan. Additionally, it would let them know something is up which we do not want.

This tribal has just became a giant mess. So, Gian and Madi were fully comfortable trying to 4-4 tie it between me and someone else. Meanwhile, DeNara got tea from Anastasia and has "exposed" Gian/Madi to her. Now, Anastasia wants to flip and vote out Rachel. But, the Faes alliance has decided not to tell Anastasia the actual vote is Madi. And I want to use my SWP because now is the time to use it since Anastasia confirmed it's between me or DeNara for the newbies so Steven would be safe in that scenario. So, if everything works out, it should be a 3-3-1 vote with me not voting between Madi, DeNara, and Rachel. In that case, we get Anastasia to vote for Madi under the pretense that we just couldn't trust her yet but now we do. Apparently, Madi doesn't like DeNara and Gian doesn't like one of Steven or I. That's kind of sad cause I like them, but whatever. And if DeNara does end up the vote because Madi uses an idol, that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make because Anastasia says she wants to flip so in the process of all this I gain a number and have a 4-3 majority next round guaranteed. What do u think about Fiona? I don’t really see why ppl hate Fiona? I mean she’s done some stupid shit but all of the Gallagher’s have and she had to sacrifice everything to care for her siblings?? She’s done some selfish things but honestly I feel like she deserves it bc she’s put her siblings before her pretty much all the time.

Fiona is a tough one for me…

I loved her until the back half of season 5. Fiona gets a lot of hate for season 4 and while I get it, I personally don’t agree with it. I’ve actually tried to defend the whole situation with the coke several times but most people say they don’t feel any sympathy for her; but for some reason I still do. She made a TON of mistakes in season 4 that were frustrating, but I feel people forget just how young she is and that she never got to get much of her crazy out because her crazy (while certainly more wild than anything I’ve ever done) was tame compared to what she is surrounded by or what her siblings were capable of doing. Then season 4 comes around and it seems like one thing turns into another and everything snowballs for her until suddenly she’s left coke out on the counter and her baby brother got into it and finally Fiona realizes that she needs to take better care of herself and needs to figure herself out; figure out why her life was capable of spiraling the way it did when she used to be so in control. And I’m all good with that, everyone needs to figure out ways to better themselves. The problem with that though is the way she handled trying to better herself, basically left her siblings out in the cold despite her adopting her siblings. The judge even reminded her that this responsibility would be until Liam reached the age of 18. And her behavior in season 5-7 indicates that she has completely forgotten or has decided to ignore that she legally asked for responsibility of these kids.

But here she is in season 5, completely neglecting her family at home, throwing the “guardian” card around when it suits her but not actually doing much to assert her position as guardian or doing anything to make sure her siblings are staying out of trouble because she’s gone all of the time! I mean, Carl turned into full-blown thug and Debbie got it into her head to trap a boy she liked with a baby and this is definitely in-part, if not completely, due to Fiona’s absence.  

Also, she has always been hateful towards the Milkovich family since the start of the series, but yet has no problem with Ian shacking up with a Milkovich despite the fact that he clearly has no idea what mental illness/bipolar disorder is? She has never felt positively towards the Milkoviches, never recognized the good either of them tried to do for their respective Gallaghers (Mandy encouraging Lip to go to college and even filling out the application that got him into school; Mickey bringing Ian home when no one else could, being a friend to him and getting him to lay off the drugs, etc.) but will allow Ian to move in with both Milkoviches and trust that they are actually going to keep an eye on him? That makes absolutely no sense and in this situation, Lip is no better. How are you going to hate on a group of people, but decide that while they aren’t good enough to hang around your family when they are dating your sibling, they are good enough to take care of your mentally ill sibling while you sort your own life out and act like you care from afar, conveniently butting in when things go to shit or after the dust has already settled?

Now fast forward to season 6 and Fiona is turning into mega-bitch. Granted they put a lot on Fiona that season, but Ian and Debbie definitely had a point when he called her out for being a bitch. Season 6 Fiona didn’t really do much to piss me off in particular, though her getting involved with Sean was annoying. Like, had she learned nothing from her experience with Gus?

Season 7 Fiona however, I have a HUGE problem with. As I already mentioned, Fiona agreed to be the guardian of these kids but now is saying “pay rent, or get the fuck out.” NOW, I understand that is her right, but she seems to forget that Debbie and Carl are still minors (15/16 and 14/15?). She can charge Lip and Ian whatever the fuck she wants because Ian has a full-time job and Lip isn’t in school and is an adult. But she was being completely unfair to Debbie and Carl. 

Yes, I agree Debbie needed to pay for the baby stuff herself and maybe even pay a small rent with the house if only to teach her financial responsibility with the baby. But how can Fiona expect Debbie to get a job while in high school and with a baby without offering any assistance or even ideas for where she can get assistance? Of course she’s going to turn to stealing or prostitution or scams! I just feel like Fiona set Debbie up for failure and while some people may not feel sympathy for Debbie, and I don’t, not really, I do feel concern for the child Fiona is effectively kicking out onto the streets if Debbie can’t cough up the cash. If Debbie can’t get a job or pay $300 bucks a month living at home how the fuck is Fiona expecting her to get a job and live on her own?! Then pretends to care when Franny is stolen by the paternal family which wouldn’t have happened if she’d at least tried to work something more reasonable out with Debbie in the first place. Fiona was 110% setting her up for failure. 

What I would have liked to see would be Fiona mentoring Debbie so that she learns a lesson about what she did, but also recognizing that the baby is here now and punishing the mother is punishing the child who is 200% innocent in this situation. I would have liked to see Fiona telling Debbie to get someone to watch Franny three nights a week so she can work, maybe Ian or Lip offering to watch her; you know, helping your siblings out like you’re ideally supposed to. But Fiona is basically punishing Debbie for having this baby despite her warnings and their fights, and I don’t think it’s right.

Then the whole “don’t call me, put me at the bottom of your emergency contact list” thing was bull. shit. 

She is their guardian. Period. For the adults, sure, ask that they call someone else if they have anyone else. But do NOT put YOUR responsibilities on another sibling who did not ask for these responsibilities so that you can get your life going when you AGREED to put your life on hold until the youngest was 18. There were so many different ways Fiona could have handled this and I was not a fan of how she handled it. I get trying to make a point to Lip that she can make something of herself despite her situation, because Lip needed to be put in his place for being the elitist prick he always claims to hate. But don’t then take that out on the rest of your family to make the point to one. And the rest of the season she had a disgusting “all for one”, “me for me” attitude. I’m proud of her for finding ways to make something of herself and for doing well, but why did she have to be such a bitch about it? Why did she have to push her other siblings (namely Debbie) to doing dangerous things to care for themselves when it is literally her JOB to care for these kids? She’s lucky that Carl had Luther to guide him in season 6 and 7 or else he probably would have gone back to the gang for money. She’s also lucky that Frank was there (oh dear God did I say that?) for Liam because she wasn’t there to find out that the school was closed! So Liam found Frank who was surprisingly there for him in a way he’s never been there for any of his other kids before.

She turned into a serious pragmatist in season 7 and it just honestly tainted her whole character for me. I really hope that turns around in season 8 because it does look like the whole family comes together for something, but I’m also seeing some spoilers to indicate otherwise, so we’ll see I guess.

Anyway, that is my very LONG explanation of my very complicated feelings on Fiona. Season 1-4/5 Fiona, I love. She is my baby. Season 5.5-7 Fiona? Can seriously rot.

(she shows up finally for 2 seconds, has the most boring anticlimactic fight in fucking film history, and falls in a fucking hole without us ever SEEING HER FACE?!?!?? i’m so furious about this one. i’m fucking mad bye)

i want to point out i’m not one of Those People who hates the idea of a kylo redemption arc or thinks it’s impossible. like i said earlier, i liked getting his and luke’s sides of things and i’m fine with past kylo being painted somewhat sympathetically. but this movie fucking WACKS YOU OVER THE HEAD with it literally NONSTOP. 

the rey and kylo stuff was fine in theory but again it happened way too much. i think it could have been condensed into one scene where they connected once

as soon as rey and poe introduced themselves to each other i knew there was a big problem. i had like a revelatory moment in the theater because that was at the End of the film and two of the three MAIN protagonists (imo) JUST NOW MET?? at the end of the second movie. there’s only one more and their relationship is only starting now???? k.

in general splitting the main trio up for the entirety of the film was a shit ass idea

Omg. yes it does. This is what makes people sick and what makes land die and what makes food not available and waste water and we all have a war on this…

These countries were the og agriculture that had an abundance of arable land and crops and now they are dying because of food greed. And its so funny bc we are killing the land we are fighting for and we are gonna end up with nothingggg. Bruh. we get our food out there (and that affects food prices and availability). Thats why VERTICAL FARMING and HYDROPONICS and INHABITING mars for that. Because we are literally running out of food for people and water and its all our fault and they cant even go to school because they have to pay for all of this and its just to survive. Like….what happened to having the pursuit of happiness, when all they are doing is just trying to survive, not die on the streets, etc….and its all bc the system and the greed. The greedy white man.

-you NEED to care for this.omg. This literally causes ALL conflicts because of power issues and if you stand neutral, you chose the side of the oppressor. Power is fighting over needs of resources to survive, right? And people will rob them and hide them because greed and the need to hold power because they are threatened lololol. The powerful one will always want more and more and more (but if you become more than human and dont fall into your condition...then you will give it away. Go make more and more and improve it….) but then they realize they have too much and then will make someone exchange it for a fake ass inflated price with no intrinsic value that wont keep them alive (aka….money and material things) and bruh. Food and water is fucking PRICELESS. We will literally kill for that because it KEEPS US ALIVE. And if they keep killing and also contaminating it, then 1) we will all be bloody af 2) we will have water..but its all contaminated and 3) we will have too much of nothing….and even if things werent contaminated, the balance would be off. We would 1) have too much to consume and it will go to waste, we will be too hype and start having kids at an alarming rate and the baby boom will happen all over again...this literally involve you 100% and the only way i can see this cycle to stop is get out of it. Be more self reliant and community based.

-that because the system set it up for you (thats why you need to know how to use it to your best ability and get out) and just continue it on and on and on and keep you working more, keep you held back, keep taxing you more, etcetc….thats like having the farmer work for all the food but doesnt get shittttt for his labor and only people they work under will reap the profits and the food (that they prob dont even want to eat themselves) that goes out to the market and they just keep them doing the sammmeeee thing day in and day out. Farmers dont even get to reap the benefits of their hard labor.

And yes. Take care of yourself now, definitely. But remember to always know the system and take it to your advantage and use it to better yourself. Thats what the system does, it is a literal test. And then you can do more global and huge scale things. Thats what everyone will do. Go thru the struggle of being in the system, find the benefits that are hidden and the keys to get out and milk it so hard and then you can work on what you want to work on for yourself and for others. Because you will only get what you give...do what you wanna do for yourself and others to continue this life and legacy that you have. Thats the give. U gotta give it all and give in to this wholly. And use it to your advantage and all the tools and your own mind and imagination and creation and then before you know it, youre creating your world around you and you dont even realize it...but yes. U give your effort and work for someone and/or something and use their benefit from it and their references (but never get stuck in that!!) and the experience that also happens along the way. Build on your foundation as you go thru it all. Get the good, defend from the bad. Attract the good. Make them want to go to you, and it only works with genuine and care. Thats literally what school and work is for and life. But always remember there is a bigger takeway from this than just the time you are going to sacrifice. Just a lot of people dont know what to take out of it and just study and get good grades and they dont know why they are doing it….or worse, they just start to work and get money and thats it….we are more than money and numbers...we are more than a made up value and we are more than just being in this infinite “time” of “things”. We’re timeless….

And also be hellllaaaa aware and careful in the corporate world because they can definitely corrupt your mind and the government and the public. Dont become a spawn. Dont let them let you get lost in their sauce and keep you blind from YOUR real goal. They will try to enslave you with their money and their false power giving. So direct a lot of your energy into direct beneficial things. Like thats why im like “why dont corporations/unis/communities, give like not just education stipends, but like stipends that keep their health up” ex google. I think theyre a pretty sustainable and socially and environmentally friendly and conscious company and keep their employees healthy and top notch and best ability to work and not just give them insurance and healthcare (because why take care of it and spend mad money on it when it can be prevented….and with prevention, it is less and you get more out of it…). Like they let them get rest when they need to so they can be more productive and to their best ability and also keep them autonomous so they dont get burnout  and they get a share of their stock so they directly see the benefits going straight to them thanks to their hard work and commitment. And if it doesnt give that, invest money into like...things that keep not just your health up but also the planets. So you can stay away from bad health and then given “meds” to “fix” a “problem” they want you to think you have. And thats why i urge you to stop drinking and smoking all the time.
