i was fighting off my executive dysfunction to set up my bujo this month and i just had to come across a post on my dash about aesthetic bujos being hurtful to nd ppl and the notes full of people saying that artistic bujos are bullshit and stupid

#the op of the post was fine they were right in it being unfortunately co-opted somewhat #it’s originally supposed to be functional.#i have p bad inattentive adhd and it helps me to have a pretty spread to motivate me + focus on something #but yeah i made a mistake of reading the notes and everyone being like ‘oh if you decorate you’re not using it correctly’#i’m probably just taking it personally but idk.#it keeps me from not missing my deadlines and sometimes i make elaborate spread and sometimes they r very simple #doesn’t make me less adhd because i use tombow pens and scrapbook paper in mine :/
