On the subject, white silence YESTERDAY for some was LOUD. You’re part of the problem. STOP only speaking on injustice when it is convenient for you! The US Democracy was PUBLICLY shamed yesterday. As @ibramxk wrote in his book Stamped From the Beginning, this country is built on racist ideology. The only ideas that are protected are those that center whiteness. The time is NOW more than ever to STOP hiding from what Black people see and live every day. Yesterday showcased just how important “Dark Suffering” is to those who stormed the Capitol and the Republicans who continued to contest the Electoral College.
