Tsuno’s “Power of Friendship!”

PROLOGUE

Hiroaki was quite tired, and now Manami wanted to meet him at a coffee shop? It was almost midnight, and she normally slept like a small child. But no, she was at a coffee shop, waiting for him. She didn’t even text the address.

Text Chat: Hiroaki Nakamigawa and Tsuno Manami

Tsuno- Meet me at the coffee shop, I had an idea!!!

Fine, but what coffee shop? -Hiroaki

Tsuno- The one that makes the good caramel coffee you like!

I’m in then. -Hiroaki

Well, that settles it. He decided to walk to the coffee shop, since it was only a few blocks away from where he lived. He grabbed his jacket from the door and walked out.

While walking, he did wonder what possibly she could have to talk about. She only made plans on the spot when she was really excited about something, and when she was excited about something, he would have to endure her chattiness for hours.

He must have been walking faster than he thought, because he walked into the door of the coffee shop, and Tsuno immediately hopped up to the door and dragged him to her corner table.

“Ok ok, so you know how you don’t have any good friends?” Tsuno said, almost at the talking speed of her full-on rambles.

“You text me at midnight to meet you here, and this is what you start the conversation with?” He replied, a bit insulted from the connotation of what she said.

“Ok, so! I have a bunch of friends, and-” He cut her off.

“What does this have to do with me?”

“If you let me finish, you would know!” She seemed insulted, but that was fair.

“Fine, carry on.”

“So, I had the bright idea to pick out a few of my friends for you to meet! I already told them, and I did kind of have to bribe some of them… damnit kamimura… but yeah! You need nice people friends!” 

“What’s in it for me?” She seriously didn’t think he would do this without anything in return.

“I’ll buy you nail polish? And if you don’t like them, you can always not talk to them?” She obviously didn’t consider this before, which seemed odd to him.

“Fine, show me the people though.”

“I’ll show you them as I plan to show them to you! But since I planned the first meet-up tomorrow, I guess I’ll show you the first two!” She seemed to be lighting up as she spoke. 

“Alright, go on.”

She showed him two photos, one of a girl who looked like an orange version of that internet thing, Hatsune Miku was it? Unimportant, but the second photo was of a short looking boy who looked like he lived off of pennies. And why did Tsuno choose these two first? Would these only get worse? He already had a headache.

“The girl in orange is Isono Miki! She’s an internet idol, like streams and such! The other one is Wada Masanari, he’s a voice actor! They’re both my closest friends, so I’ll show you to them first!” Tsuno was talking at highest Tsuno-speed, which was pretty annoying to keep up with. 

But he agreed to this, after all.  

“Fine, text me the information for tomorrow. Or is it today..? Too tired to tell. I’m going home though.” He wasn’t that tired, but if he heard any more rambling, he would be.

“Alright Nagawa, I’ll see you tomorrow!” She looked so very happy, but that wasn’t unlike her.

“Yep, I guess I’ll see you then.”

What was he getting himself into?
