This Little Bit Of Info About How Dr. Flug Got Into The Black Hat Institute
So apparently he was kidnapped to join the institute which indicates the organization saw so much potential in him. It also indicates something about his past life and family.
It's implied that his family was neglectful and in contrast with that the BHO saw great interest in him. Also it makes one wonder if his family was ever concerned he was kidnapped or just pretended he didn't exist since they favored his brother.
