Your latest post on Courage tickled my brain quite a bit. I hope we'll get more content regarding the unofficial chain members (Koridai, Courage, First, etc.) Oh my, there's something about the prideful (and sometimes flirty) characters that makes me want to squeeze them like a chew toy. (Affectionately <3)

Courage is such a divergent from the other Links that it's so interesting to think about him. (Watching the cartoon is on my ‘To-Do list’.) Like how you mentioned before, he does feel like someone who will cling to that facade even at death's door.

Never allow himself to stray from the image that he created in an already ruined world where his life is constantly being toyed. I imagined he would probably be avoidant when it comes to being vulnerable himself. And when he would be 'vulnerable', it would just be him being 'open.'

So pushing Courage at his lowest point would be interesting thoughts.

When his darling's body is bruised and battered, unable to open their eyes. They'rebreathing, theyHAVEtobebreathing—

Just how quickly would that desperation of his seep through the growing cracks? How easily would he exhaust his body to ensure their survival? Anyway, you're right, he absolutely would be pushing the limits of his body if it meant you'll live. And he'll be using brute force to protect you.

Did you know he fought off 2 Lynels in the cartoon? One at a time? He managed to deal one and still got energy for another. He got stonks w him y'all. (In the cartoon tho, it didn't seem that groundbreaking, but I'm sure everyone who's played BOTW would remember how nightmarish they were). He was strong enough to even throw a dresser or so overhead!

Meaning, he'll be tearing at anyone and anything perceived as an enemy; which is basically anything that moves in his vision. If his weapons are out he'll be using his limbs to decimate foes to reach darling, if his body is used to be her shield, his teeth will tear out throats to those who come near. He won't stop until darling is safe. He won't stand down or die and perish until darling is okay. No matter what anyone does he'll come crawling back. Should the goddesses give him kindness, grant mercy, give it to the one who holds his heart. It is the only reward and kindness he'll accept.

I adore seeing Legend (or any of the other boys really) being so soft to Ava. The post of Legend in a skirt has me squealing in delight; it was a pleasant surprise for my eyes. <3

I imagine Ava would also braid their hair, particularly Wild or Sage, since their hair is much longer. I also imagine she would put tiny flowers, and they'll be the prettiest boys out there! (Gorgeous boys with their gorgeous girl)

I'm so sorry for the late reply beloved, I was so deep into AU building that I have not touched your ask! I wanted to make art first but it's been days already JSUVDHGBH So, I decided to answer this here and now, pardon me dearie (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠)

Also YES YES GORGEOUS BBYS 🥹🥹 Ava definitely loves styling their hair when they get the chance! If their downtime allows it, maybe Ava will care for their hair and look after them alongside Wars! She and Wars definitely bond over care stuff like this. They discuss ingredients to use regarding hygiene and all that. Which they then go on a lil group hunt with Wild looking for said ingredients maybe?

And LEGEND! You do not know how much I am biased for him and his dynamic with Ava shipping wise 🧍‍♀️I love them sm! They bond over fashion and stuff! Also cuz Ava thinks he could be a good model, with how well he suited her old skirts! Maybe she even gave it to him? Or they even made skirts together, since he sews and Ava was a seamstress before! Ah, very cute ideas!

Speaking of cute tho, while I did not get to draw art for this ask, there is this lil cute doodle I have that can be related to this!

It is what it is: well to be more clear, Ava is helping with Blue's hair in this one! I find his hair being tucked to one ear so pretty and handsome 🥺 look at him!

Anyway, there's a little story yet to be explained abt that doodle; yes a story I say! Abt Ava and Blue's little... Misunderstandings ;; and how they become close! But this post is already long ehe ^^" more on that on another ask if anyone comes and eagerly asks abt it 🙈 but we shall see.

I added them in my drawings of Ava because — uh, I thought they would be cute — and I used to frequently draw an oc with that feature. 💦💦

So I indulged myself a little and added them. (It was my favorite little detail, and I kinda missed drawing that oc.) 💦💦💦

I am obsessed with how you shade Ava's hair; the colors remind me of a sunset, and I adore those vibes. <333

The lilac eyes suit her very well, and I'm intrigued by her heart-shaped pupils, especially with how one of the is upside-down. 👀

You know the funky part about this is that youve been adding heart freckles on your fan art for my darling as well, and I thought you noticed she actually HAS heart freckles way before you ever drew her! Back when I was probs only posting comics illustrating writer's chapters or so XDD

Then again, if you didn't I wont blame you KSCSKGSKDH The freckles are so so tiny especially when Ava's figure or so is also drawn small in the canvas SKBSJDJE I thought you had a real attention to detail! :0 Well, even if you didn't great minds think alike! And generally the hearts and roses are very much Ava's motif all the time (especially the roses. Theyre everywhere JSVSBGSJSGJS)

Also, I also LOVE sunsets or dawn colors! :DDD The blend of colors are beautiful and its like, soothing and relieving. Madra (Gliph) and I both agreed Ava has those colors. At first I was hesitant (cuz they couldve been used in a... New form of hers >>) but at the same time Ava would look less rendered or too shiny or smth compared to how I color other characters, so I tried it again and played around, and huzzah! I also got rid of the brown eyes because, at this point it wouldnt make sense: brown eyes make her feel human, when Ava isn't one. So yayyy new eyes!

A question came to mind for darling Ava, I don't remember if it was mentioned before, but does she play an instrument of any kind?

Or at least have some sort of connection with music?

I was suddenly reminded of that one art piece where the chain had a mini concert amongst themselves.

I can imagine a few scenarios; someone teaching Ava how to play their instrument, comforting each other with a song from their specific era (perhaps a nightmare), or even giving Ava a show of their own.

I'm glad and flattered you think my works are inspiring 🥹 I hope the more Ava's story unfolds, the more I can inspire you too!

As for Ava's instruments... I'd say she plays the harp or flute. Even piano :00 I also imagine she plays Kalimba of the sorts— her music is more soft, soothing and earth like nature <33 despite all that though, shes more of a singer than playing instruments! I will admit, she sings and vocalizes like a choir reaching really high notes. Do you know Belle? As in the 3D animated japanese film? "Lend me your voice" song is kinda what Ava's voice sounds like! Although, I'd say a bit more ethereal, otherworldly.

But that doesnt mean to say what youve suggested has never happened, of course. Ava would love to hear Hyrule's music! I imagine the first time the chain played a lil concert for her, she was having a very fun time listening and following the rhythm or beat of their music.

Though bcs Ava can sing, you know the chain would wanna hear it often. I imagine Twilight likes to ask if she can sing a lullaby for him and Epona, Legend had the blessing of the lullaby too when Ava cradled him as a bunny comforting him (not that she knows), and so on. Ava can be a little shy though, so more often than not her voice is hushed and rarely ever loud. Because of that, the chain gets to enjoy Ava's melodies all to themselves more than anything! At least they don't have much hassle when it comes to other people listening to her, right?

I'm currently not — sweet Ava's prologue left me heartbroken, and I want to commit crimes against many. The whole piece was beautifully written, and I do enjoy myself some tragedy; the angst is quite the spice I need.

The unfairness of the situation was both angering and haunting; everyone was just cheering for the demise of a young girl as she herself was questioning what she did to deserve such hatred.

The way she attempted to comfort herself in a bleak situation and even tried to find some semblance of joy —

“…she will no longer feel the aches of her weakened, fragile body, and she will no longer see faces that will always sneer and mock her for every move she makes…”

I am not okay right now. :(

“All of it will be over soon, and perhaps, with her death, the people shall also have peace moving onwards as well.”
