"I wasn't actually sure if you'd be here." She was mildly surprised that it was him. Surely it wasn't too uncommon to come across an injured blond man with unique eyes in the galaxy. But by all odds, it was Aventurine--or whatever he wanted to go by now that he wasn't with the IPC--here on Argenti's ship.

Kira stepped further into the room, observing the man closely. She really thought he had died... Maybe he truly was lucky. Or was this even an outcome he wanted at all? Kira did not like him the few times he crossed paths with the Astral Express crew, but...she didn't know. Something about that last "interaction" stuck with her. "...How are you feeling?"

"...What's my mark?" The mercenary didn't like wasting time with the usual banter from the 'client'. She had done enough research prior to know he was from the IPC, an organization that Lia genuinely couldn't care less about. It didn't matter to her who paid her for a hunt, as long as she did get paid in the end. And looking at how this man flaunted his wealth like a pompous peacock, she wasn't concerned about him being unable to pay.

Violet eyes stared at the man without a hint of emotion as she scanned his face, trying to pick him apart. The only thing she couldn't understand was why someone from the IPC was recruiting a bounty hunter. Perhaps he needed someone without fear...
