Here’s a pro crochet tip. Never trim pom poms with your mouth open. This one isn’t attached to the hat yet, I just staged it for the picture. But once it is, I will be listing it in my Etsy shop. I had the honor of testing out the Basketball Hoop Backpack Pattern for @ekaygdesigns. I went with the Golden State Warriors colors because we are Warriors fans but I couldn’t decide on doing the straps in “home” or “away” color scheme. So I did one of each! I still can’t believe this is my life! My 3rd giveaway winnings of January came in from Miranda (@crazy4crochetmomma). Finished up a Bubblegum Pop Beanie (pattern by @crazy4crochetmomma) today using Lion Brand Mandala yarn in Troll. Because this is a weight 3 yarn (pattern calls for 4), it is more appropriate for a child. I can fit it on my head, but it looks like it’s struggling. And she’s done! Meet Chilli, my take on @knot.bad ‘s Pill-O pattern. I made mine with worsted weight yarn so she’s small enough to carry around in my crochet bag. She’s got gold heart blush and a heart crown. And she’s serving #twistout realness! Those doggone eyes though. I gotta work on my face-embroidering skills. She even has one eye droopier than the other, just like me. Her name’s Chilli because she’s my Chill Pill. Like many other makers, I too take a medication daily to keep my mental health under control. Chilli is my reminder to smile and chill out when I feel like things are about to get out of control.
