This year’s storybook consists of twelve incredible fairytales reimagined by a few wonderful minds of the dsmp fandom! Follow some of your favorites through tales of family, friendship, romance, and more as we dive into this spellbinding collection.

Here's my piece for @suenitos dteam worldwide collab featuring Dream and George having a tacacá, a typical Brazilian dish from the Amazon region made with tucupi broth, cassava gum, shrimp and jambu

I was very excited to participate in this collab, imagining any foreign character in a Brazilian context is a lot of fun for me, and being able to do this with some of the dteam was incredible, so I decided to go further and portray elements of the the culture of the northern region of Brazil (the region of where I'm from)

Fun fact: I speedrun to finish this drawing at the beginning of the month because I was going away on a trip for the rest of the month and couldn't bring my sketchbook or any drawing materials with me, so this photo has been in my gallery since the 4th of this month

dteam celebrating Fiestas Patrias (from Chile)! Which happens on the 18th of September, tomorrow!! The three of them are wearing traditional chilean clothing that is also worn when dancing cueca. The dresses usually vary on design (mostly the colors, they always have flower patterns, which are really beautiful). Sapnap is drinking Terremoto, a very popular cocktail seen in fondas (places where a lot of people celebrate Fiestas Patrias)!!

sylvee is drinking inca kola which is actually a peruvian drink but eh. i see it plenty in ecuador. she is also wearing a barcelona (ecu team ver) shirt.

dream is wearing a guayas shirt, which is the costal south region of the country. he is also sporting marathon shorts, which are The sports brand.

it is currently illegal to wet people on the street just because. this doesn't mean that it doesn't keep happening. i like to think snf got the short end of the straw in going outside and through a carnaval street and lost to kids with water guns and balloons, which is something that has happened quite a lot of times to me. i have also thrown water at many people from the sky, to be clear (BEFORE IT WAS MADE ILLEGAL. SMILES.)

george is also wearing marathon and also probably a white shirt because february in ecuador is so hot and humid you really shouldn't be wearing black. sapnap is wearing black because he wanted to use his don ramon shirt. that is a national treasure too, btw. every self respecting man should use one.

i like to think they're coming from super despensa aki for no reason other than I miss my local super despensa aki.

in ecuador you use "man" as you would use "dude", with the thick spanish accent, which i find very funny.

I'm kinda sad that the comm house event is nearly over. I just really want more fun collabs between writers and artists in this fandom.

Anyone have any cool ideas for other events we should do?

The Big Bang was huge, so some smaller things would probably be welcomed.

Artist applications close tomorrow!! There are 6 artist positions available. If you would like to apply to be an artist, please do so by tomorrow!

There is still plenty availability for beta reader, backup writer, and backup artist positions. The application deadline for these roles will be in May.

Artist assignments will begin next week! All writers must have their fic premises solidified. The first check-in will be April 15-16.

hi! new artist collab just dropped!! very casual, low commitment, and open at any time to all who want to do it! this is based off the recent trend of miku being drawn in different cultural clothes or as part of different cultures (more info here if you don't know what it is), literally open to everyone regardless of geography (meaning yes usa states and cities are also allowed)

obviously, if you are considering doing a culture that isn't your own take great care to be as respectful as possible and refrain from depicting anything in poor taste as this is meant to be a celebration of culture and putting our guys in them for fun. highly doubt this will be an issue but just putting it out there just in case

I got paired with @zuzypiia to create artworks for @day-time-dream's fic inspired by Hansel & Gretel! It's an amazing retelling of the story and I encourage everyone to go and read it!

When I read the first drafts I immediately though of John Bauer's art and knew I wanted to try to emulate that :)

It's been a long time working on it, and I kind of forgot how to draw in the middle of it, but that's why I adore these collabs! because they encourage me to continue drawing and remind me of how fun it is!

I've created a side blog for Dteam related stuff @orangelex404, I'm pretty busy now but hopefully I'll start using it and posting fanart to it when my life calms down :]
