i made a joke in the tags of gleann's other post that i wouldnt allow myself to make a spec lore post about raposa law in the tags. but the unfortunate reality is that i dont actually have spec lore i just have silly <3

i think raposa probably have a very simple system of law and dispute resolution. if you and a neighbor have a problem with each other, generally you'll hash that out together. if you can't come to a solution, you'll take it to the mayor and let them be the deciding figure. crime is all but a non-issue, but if someone's acting up really badly or consistently the usual response is to just kick them out of town :/

that's where lawyers like gleann come in! they'll act as a middleman for all of this. if you think your problem is too trivial to take the mayor, lawyers can make the decision for you. and if you're about to be kicked out of town, they'll step in on your behalf to make sure your neighbors aren't falsely accusing you or working themselves up into an unnecessary frenzy.

standing up to a large group of upset raposa can be kind of daunting though, so lawyers have a reputation for being both silver-tongued sweet-talkers as well as being completely jacked. gleann's small like other fellas, but he's surprisingly strong and is more than willing to physically defend his clients. growing up on a farm and doing manual labor from a young age gave him a competitive edge when he started his career, so he's rather popular among troublemakers.
