Aye diana, have you thought about idea of post-ragnarok/post-iw thor and thor1/barely-pre-thor1 loki? Time travel or whatever, but just the contrast and the idea of them meeting... (this is not a prompt or anything like that, but just sort of idea/scenario and me asking if you ever considered such scenario! Like an opinion/thoughts thing!)

Yeeeep, I have thought about that and it would be brilliant. Ngl, a part of it is just the sheer hotness of fresh faced twink Loki fuckingmeeting gruff, matured Thor.

Look at that. Dammit. But it would be absolutely bonkers on the feelings front too. Thor decides to go back in time, to fix all of it (maybe he gets his hands on some of the stones? Or the whole gauntlet?) and instead of re-appearing in the body of Thor of that time, he goes as he is, so there’s no option of keeping it secret, I mean Loki takes one look at him and knows that this isn’t his Thor. 

And Loki is all confident that he will be able to manipulate him anyway, play some games and he’s faced with this wall of exasperated fondness, like “that’s really cute what you just said to me to rile me up.” It’s not all fun though, because Thor has come here to fix specific things and Loki is hardly making it easy on him, being all bratty and Thor has to find a balance between treating him well and making amends and between not letting Loki go down the same path just because it’s incredible to see him alive and well again.

So, yes. A+ hot aesthetic, bottomless fodder of feelings.

Thor was apparently also allowed to have a parade of girlfriends constantly on his arm, but god forbid Loki once brought a friend to the family BBQ. Suddenly Thor was all threats and jealousy.

Loki took a sharp sip of his coke through the straw, confident that his date was somewhere around, getting interrogated by uncle Heimdall, which was just as well. It allowed him to just park himself in the shade and watch Thor strut around in the sun, topless.

“You’re the one who’s getting red, asshole,” Loki told him when Thor came to get another beer.

Leaning over Loki to grab a handful of potato chips, Thor managed to conceal how he piched the top of Loki’s thigh, hard. Loki spent the next five minutes blinking back tears and willing away his erection.

Later, their dad was snoring and their mom was doing something suspicious on her phone as usual, bottle of wine standing next to her half empty glass and they snuck upstairs, shutting themselves in Loki’s room at the far end of the hallway.

It had long since been proven that essentially no sound from there made it to the rest of the house.
