Out of the trolls, Tavros is still my favorite, and he deserved better than getting killed, decapitated, and smooched on post mortem (assuming I am correct in assuming Gamzee was kissing Tavros' head when he was texting Dave about Lil Cal)

Also, is it canon that Gamzee liked Tavros?? As in, being flushed for him. Because it's never stated explicitly, but it seemed pretty hinted at. Makes me wonder what would've happened if he was still chill(?) when Vriska killed Tavros - how he would've reacted.

The murder of the trolls confused me so freaking much. I'm still not sure how serious i should take those deaths. Are they gonna come back?? No?? Idkkkkkkkkk, and it's ennerving me so muuuuuuch

Ah btw - i still don't know what is the deal with that freaking puppet, but he creeps me out. So much.

Terezi surprised me in how much I grew to like her in this 2nd half of Act 5.she really grew on me. From her stupid chats with Dave, to everything about her rivalry with Vriska - she's amazing!

The cold blooded deaths of the guardians (Mom, dad, bro) surprised me so much. Though ig not being able to reunite with their kids before dying had to happen. Just to sprinkle that exyra little angst

Rose is such an anime character, i cant even explain why exactly, just *widly jesticulates at her*- John is too, tho. So is Dave and maaaaaybe Jade. But like, they would each belong in different anime, ya know?

Karkat is so harmless, man. Like, he just is. He starts yelling and saying he'll throw me out the window and i just giggle and pat him on the head. That kind of harmless. I think im starting to understand why everyone loves him so much, but I still prefer other trolls

Ya know, i recently finished "our flag means death" which you probably have heard of, or even watched already. And it made me realize that maybe i have a type when it comes to fictional characters. A lot of characters i like (in a kinda romantic way) are long-haired men, sometimes with a dark colored aesthetic, as seen from stranger things's eddie, my hero academia's aizawa, and our flag means death's blackbeard. I actually made a comprehensive list of characters I like (most I simp for, some I just admire) and most of them are either people with anger issues/murderous tendencies or sarcastic charmers. the odd sunshine is thrown in there every once in a while *cough cough* legoshi *cough cough* noe archiviste *cough cough* prompto. man, woman, whatever you are... ur not safe from me if u fall into one of these categories. according to my friends, I also just straight up have a thing for blonds. it's not intentional O.o

1. When did you buy the game?

My brother bought it to me as a bday/new year's present. Right after I saw some streams on the launch day and shortly after my friend gave me his copy to play, cuz I needed a licensed game for GFN (potato pc's unite lol).

2. When was the moment you knew you loved the game?

The moment my first V arrived at Kabuki. Just right after meeting with Dex. I've been already recording dozens of voice messages to the friend who let me play, and then I saw a holotree somewhere near the market and went screaming "SHIT HELP HOW DO I TURN THE PHOTOMODE ON ANSWER IT FAST I HAVE ONLY 20 MINUTES OF FREE SESSION LEFT OR SO". Now, lemme find this shot...

Yeah, there it is. I didn't even know back then how the photomode works. But I returned to this tree as I created Valera, and that's gonna be a tradition. Here's the baby:

3. Which character did you romance in your first playthrough

Judy. Love at first sight. Romanced her during all my 2 playthroughs, but now I've come to realisation that with Valera's story that's gonna be a huge bath full of glass for poor Judy, she has suffered enough, so... Dunno how I'm gonna skip her romance for the 3rd run, that'll be really hard (also thanks @solyandra for this screenshot)

4. Whose your favorite NPC?

I CAN'T CHOOSE ONE but let it be Rogue. Different reasons, not in a right state of mind to describe why. Just know that she's the best.

5. Did you have inspiration in mind when designing your V(s)?

Does Vital count as an inspo?If not, then no, from head to toes Valera's a child of random. I created her just for giggles, right after I finished my first playthrough. @solyandra was creating her Vital and I had an itching wish of creating a new V. Night City keep calling me indeed. The main idea was corpo, 0 thoughts ab how she's gonna look like and her character in general. This corpo turned to be a nomad, originally named Valerie but my mind went rogue (russian rogue), Vital's older sis. Glad af that this happened, these two live free in my heart, my main motivation for creation(lol). Tho I found out that she has some similar traits with Fiona from Shameless, and a bunch of other characters.

6. What's your go-to vehicle?

Yaiba Kusanagi ct-3x, for sure. And Johnny's Porche, just for Valera's destroying hobby (ﾉ*ФωФ)ﾉ

7. What's your favorite gig/mission/job?

I CAN'T CHOOSE ONE. SO I'LL LIST THE ONES THAT I REMEMBER. cuz this is true violence against me. Pyramid Song, Raymond Chandler Evening (just for Johnny's comments and now I can use this dumb af screenshot thanks), The Sinnerman, Rollercoaster one, jesus fucking christ i can't live like that i love almost half of the game quests, all the Peralez quest lines

Lol there was a question about meeting your LI's family in a date in the new HPHM survey. I don't get how they're gonna do that with Talbott, Merula and Barnaby tho. I mean the last 2 characters parents are in Azkaban, so are we supposed to go on a date to Azkaban with them or something??? Or maybe we'll meet Merula's aunt, and see Cecil again for Barnaby.

And Talbott's parents are dead, so I wouldn't be surprised at all if that date with him ends up being super depressing if they get a mention. It shouldn't be too difficult to see everyone else's families tho, like we've heard about Mr and Mrs Haywood and they sound alright, not much is known about Jae's mum but hopefully she's nice, not much is known about Badeea's parents either, but hopefully they're nice too. I don't really like Chiara's parents all that much based on what we know but who knows, maybe that'll change if/when we actually meet them for ourselves.

Oh okay, so that makes sense. I’ve been hearing about how it might be possible to meet the parents of our friends in the future, but it would stand to reason that they’re going to make that part of the dating story-line. A “meet the parents” kind of quest, as it were. That would be really cute, and kinda funny...but yeah, like you said, a lot of the dating options have parents who wouldn’t work well for this. For Penny, it works fine. (We could even get a Beatrice cameo.) For Jae, I’d love to meet his mother. Andre, Badeea, Chiara? They’d all work just fine - even if, like you, I have issues with Chiara’s parents. Hell, this could be a chance for Jam City to incorporate same-sex couples! Come on guys, everyone knows that making the characters’ parents gay is socially acceptable now. You can do it! 

Cecil is the perfect choice for Barnaby, and it kinda makes it so he can work for this quest as well, without having to introduce his parents. (Who wants to see them anyway?) Might be a bit underwhelming for players who’ve finished the Halloween quest and thus already met him, but it can also be interesting if you met your love interest’s parental figure already, and then have to meet them again in the new context of “your child and I are dating.” Like, I’d love to see Ethan Parkin’s reaction to MC dating Skye. That would be something. Anyway, Cecil works for Barnaby, that checks out. An Azkaban visit to meet Merula’s parents can work out too. I don’t really want to meet her aunt. It doesn’t seem like she’s had that great an impact on her life. I’d rather her parents. But I feel like Azkaban would need to be part of the plot then, for that to work. Because no way they’re programming it and leaving it exclusive to the players who choose Merula. There will be an initial visit for whatever reason, and then a return for players who select Merula. Hell, the entire premise of this quest could be some kind of “Parents’ Day” to justify why everyone’s families are showing up. 

But Talbott...he is the odd one out, he is the wildcard. His parents are dead, and he has no aunt or uncles that have been mentioned to watch him in their stead. I assume there must be some sort of formal guardian, but not anyone we know a thing about. They’d be an entirely new character with no previous set-up. Which is something Jam City could do. For fun, they could make it a canon character - I’ve been waiting for them to introduce Kingsley Shacklebolt - but it’s just as possible that fans will want to see Talbott’s parents...somehow. Even if it was just re-watching an old Pensieve memory that he keeps. I dunno, I feel like using a Pensieve with someone else can be considered a very personal thing, especially if it’s your own memories that you’re watching. It wouldn’t be out of place for something like this.
