Artur is the son of legendary warrior Harald Greystorm and his sister mate Apolonia. Born in Hedeby along with his brother Johann, Artur grew up bearing physical abuse from his father while also being held in high favor by his aunt Ragna. Believing Ragna would protect Artur until she returned to reclaim him, Apolonia fled Hedeby taking only Johann with her. From Ragna Artur learned the black arts and his own powers as a bloodseer, as well as avidly watching his father rule. This would come to an end when Dominicus invaded Hedeby and slaughter the Greystorm central family, leaving only Artur alive. Kept hostage as a way to ensure the Greystorm packs compliance, Artur would use all the tricks of manipulation and deceit in order to survive the Cobb’s pack ruling Hedeby.

At first expected to become Dominicus’ mate upon coming of age, Artur was instead promised to his son Jakob. Over the years he grew to be a trusted advisor of Dominicus and Mal and a fierce leader of raids. Using his blood magic however, he eventually drove Mal insane until she ate wolfsbane and died. Mad with grief, Dominicus was eventually confined to a cell by his daughter Filipa, who took over as the new Pack Alpha. Knowing Filipa lusted after him, Artur dutifully spurned her advances and began spending more time with Jakob. This would eventually lead Filipa to kill her brother, only to be killed herself in Artur’s usurption of Hedeby. Upon learning the fate of his children, Dominicus tore out and consumed his own heart, dying.

Artur became the ruler of Hedeby, and held it until his cousin the Red Jester’s raid. After being conquered in a merry chase, Artur became the Jester’s head mate along with his brother Johann. As the favorite mate, he would endure the brunt of the Jester’s madness and violence. All the while Artur attempted to control his alpha’s mind through blood magic. As foretold by a seer, Artur bore no living children with the Jester, despite three pregnancies.

After killing the Red Jester during a fire at Hedeby, Artur was captured by Bane and placed in the Nether Well. There he sacrificed a litter of 4 pups to The Crane in exchange for helping him escape. Once free of the Nether Well, Artur roamed the forests of his families ancesteral lands of Fyn, killing feral alphas.
