rin kiss cam absolutely a masterpiece, i loveeee it so much <3 but i got an opposite idea. since you are very damn talented writing for sae, perhaps where you and sae had an argument which upset you so much, you have been ignoring him. then the following day, sae has a football match. after the match which of course they win, all the cams are on you and he said “please give me another chance to fix this, us” THEN THEN he held a massive bouquet of roses DJOWJDOSHDJSJDJ

sae, who has a sharp tongue and an even sharper attitude to match with that blunt personality of his. sae, whose words burn and singe your skin, leaving searing pain behind that you try not to show, especially when the venom drips onto your skin and brands you with shame, humiliation, and wrath. sae, who has never talked to you like he had in the argument you had two nights ago.

since then you hadn't talked to him, cringing at the thought of messaging him and reaching out. your friends tell you that you should try and mend whatever has happened, that knowing the two of you, sae's probably feeling the same and misses you too. your heart agrees but your conscious is still a little scarred, wincing when you recall the words that were thrown around.

sae had sent you a few posts here and there- like he sometimes does on instagram (they're hardly funny and you're still trying to find a way to tell him that), and you would only respond with a double click of the message instead of a proper response. other than that, he hadn't reached out in any other way.

the problem was that tonight you had a match to attend, with tickets that sae personally booked for you so it'd be a little harsh to not go.

just because you were still... upset at him doesn't mean that you didn't love him.

but did he want you there? what if he doesn't want to see you? what if he's still mad? that's probably why he hasn't made any attempts to try and talk it out and lord knows that you're still too busy fighting your own thoughts to make the first move.

pathetic really, it is, but when itoshi sae is your partner and the person who you have to apologise to... it's a little hard...

nevertheless, you go. your eyes lingered on the jersey he had given you, debating on whether or not you should wear it.

you decide against it, walking out of your apartment with a sinking feeling that it was a decision you'd regret. at least you still looked cute.

arriving at the stadium, you occupy your seat quite quickly especially since you were watching solo today. it's always daunting to be alone, especially in an environment like this, but you don't want any of your friends to witness how rocky you and sae are right now, so just purchasing this one ticket was a good idea.

even if that meant you had to cure your own boredom by scrolling on your phone whilst waiting for the match to start.

despite your indifferent front, your stomac was doing somersaults from where you jittered with anxiety. was showing up the right move? what if he didn't want you here?

then the stadium announcers begin talking, shushing everyone almost immediately as the teams are introduced. each running onto the grassy field when it's their turn, basking the roars and screams of the crowd that came to support them.

when real madrid comes out, your eye immediately lands on the figure of your boyfriend. although you can't see him all that clearly, it's not hard to identify him from his magenta hair and build; one that you see practically all the time (excluding the last three days).

he's scanning through the crowd, whipping his head around as if in search for someone, and when he finds the vip section for real madrid, his eyes land on you. you can't see him clearly, but there's a shift from his figure, his aura darkening as he slows his steps a little, falling behind from his team.

a fellow teammate has to push sae a little to snap him out of whatever funk he was in and a part of you twists uncomfortably at this weird behaviour of his.

all because he saw you. maybe it wasn't the right choice to come tonight. what if you impact his play?

the kickoff begins before you can think too much about it and the match officially starts, the players scrambling around the field.

90 minutes are over before you can count, the victory going to real madrid (to your relief because thank goodness you didn't affect their precious midfielder).

however, where you thought you would head home immediately after the match, it seems like sae has other plans as he runs towards the barriers separating the audience and the field, eyes locked on you the whole time. he beckons for you to come over and with a little hesitation, you do, weaving through exiting crowds in anticipation for what he'd need.

"congrats for the win," you say in greeting, plastering on a smile to give him the false perception that you were okay. he didn't need a victory to be soiled. that'd be a rough way to end such a pleasant event.

he doesn't meet your smile. instead, his eyes seem troubled, eyebrows slightly furrowed as he looks you up and down again and again, as if his eyes are deceiving him.

"you're not wearing my jersey," he says finally, looking back up at you with turmoil clear in his eyes.

"oh," you look down at your own outfit. "yeah. i decided not to."

"why?"

"well after our argument i didn't know where we stand," you confess shyly. he frowns further before stepping back.

then he takes off his jersey- the one he was wearing, and fiddles with it until it's facing a certain way. he had a long sleeve shirt on underneath but without the jersey, you can see that he's wearing the couples necklace you got for your anniversary.

he then threads the jersey on over you and despite being shocked at his abrupt actions, you comply nevertheless, weaving your arms through the holes.

sae hums in approval and you feel a little gross wearing his sweat-sopped shirt, but he looks content and happy. a stark contrast to the troubled expression he was wearing previously.

you open your arms for a hug. he accepts it, winding his arms around your torso as yours go around his neck. the athlete breathes you in, relishing in the feeling of being so close to you after so long.

"are we okay?" he asks, voice muffled as sae hugs you a little tighter.

"yeah," you respond. he takes his head out of your shoulder, indifferent eyes glossy. you think they're tears, but you're not going to give yourself such high credit.

"missed you. i hate it when you're mad at me."

you chuckle, pressing a kiss to his nose, causing him to scrunch his face at the sensation. "i wasn't mad, sae. i thought you would be."

"me? why?"

"i don't know. you're kind of scary, y'know. especially to those who have wronged you or you don't care about."

he softens before bringing his head to your shoulder again, finding solace in your touch. "but you're neither."

"noted," you laugh, running your hands through his hair. everything feels okay again.

you only find out after the match that sae was hoping you'd come all along and that he even brought gifts for you as a way of apologising after the match.

it’s a little action of affection that soothes him. he won’t feel calmed and ready to go to bed UNTIL the brush of your lips subliminally instruct him to.

he wakes up with a kiss then he sure will go to sleep with a kiss.

except you’re adamant, refusing to kiss him because it would ruin the shiny layers of skincare and the lip balm you just applied.

he grunts, leaning against the headboard of the bed with an upset pout. if it’s 15 minutes he needs to wait, then 15 minutes he will wait.

15 minutes later and you’re practically on the verge of sleep, and rin feels a twinge of guilt that settles in his gut before brushing it aside, concerns of disturbing your peace cast aside because you haven’t given him his.

placing a hand on the other side of your head, he leans down and presses a lingering kiss to your forehead, then your cheeks, then your eyelids, then a chaste one to your lips. eyes fluttering open at the sensation, you’re greeted with the sight of rin’s displeased expression.

“what’s wrong?” you ask, “why aren’t you going to bed?”

“it’s your fault,” he grumbles as if it’s the most obvious thing. “give me my goodnight kiss.”

you comprehend his demand with a laugh and rin looks away shyly. regardless, you grab his face to make him look back at you to place a kiss on his lips, one that has him melting into you in seconds. with a giggle, you separate, and rin’s scowl has been replaced with an expression of glee.

“happy?”

“very.”

hi hi just wanted to share smth I thought up

imagine chigiri who in middle school had a best friend who was also very fast and did track. They were the only one who could ever catch up with chigiri and thus they became best friends and their own sorta rivals.

Then suddenly fast track to chigiri's injury and now seeing their best friend who runs like wind and is now bitter af. He knows he shouldnt be bitter when they have been caring the whole time for him so he starts ignoring them.

some chigiri love will be shown on the earthtooz blog 2nite because i adore him and think he deserves the world.

i actually love this scenario, but just- oh my gosh, i want to add on to your thought with my own:

your 'relationship' with him is admittedly, one of your favourite ones, despite neither of you seeing much of each other during school. but you were known to be on the track team and chigiri for being the fasted sprinter on the soccer team.

and on the bleachers after practice, a friendship/friendly rivalry was born.

for two of the fastest people on their respective teams, your parents sure did not reciprocate that energy, taking their times picking you up from practice. thus, you would spend an unknown amount of time talking to him, bundled up in your sports tracksuits with your sports bag snug on your shoulder.

chigiri was pleasant company. a little stuck-up, sure, but fun to talk to nevertheless. you could tell he took great pride in being a fast runner, but as long as he had the skills to prove it, pride is something you can overlook. it was endearing. he still lost to you every time in a 100m sprint though.

you gave him tips one time. you'd never forgive yourself for helping chigiri almost beat you.

but you admire him for it. you admire his talent and his determination,

then suddenly, he's not at practice. he's not at school either. in fact, it's not a week later until you see him... with crutches and a boot. the look he gives you is empty and devoid of the usual friendliness he always shows you and he doesn't even make attempts of greeting you.

his mum picks him on time too.

you get the message that he doesn't want to talk to you. he doesn't make the effort to anymore, doesn't swing by your class during lunch time, doesn't say 'hi' to you before practice, and his coldness causes your heart to break in two.

people had always told you that distance makes the heart fonder. you found out yourself that the saying was as true as they make it sound, your heart jumping alive and filling you with unexplainable yearning. a feeling you later label as a crush. not that your crush on him could do much now.

you see him struggle in practices, witnessing the way the ball gets stolen off him- something that had never been done before, with such ease. he meets your gaze from where you were filling up your water and instantly glances away, ashamed.

the next time you hear of him after graduating middle school, he's on national television, going against the national u-20 soccer team, representing some... project called blue lock? you don't pay any mind to it though, sitting on the edge of your couch in anticipation. the world was watching chigiri hyoma- the prodigy you knew in middle school.

you panic a little when he gets subbed out and you're scrambling for your phone, searching for chigiri's contact. your old messages that were left on delivered appear, causing a subtle ache in your chest to manifest, but the first thing you send is an 'i'm watching the match. are you ok?'.

the next thing you send is a 'CONGRATULATIONS!' when his team wins.

you get a response an hour later, it's chigiri thanking you. his next text asks you to catch up over coffee. you agree as soon as the message is received.

one coffee 'date' turns into a day in harajuku. a walk together turns into visiting a local park and playing on the swing set, jokingly racing each other to each equipment and your feelings for him return full swing by the end of the two week break he has.

you spend his last day together. he tells you to keep an eye on him. that he'll become even better of a soccer player that either of you imagined in middle school. you make him keep the promise to you with a pinky promise. he agrees. you're satisfied.

and fast forward a few years, it's the night before the finals of the world cup and he's in your arms in the hotel room, self-care routine all done as you let him unwind with you in preparation for the big match tomorrow.

he tells you to watch him. that he'll bring home a medal for you. you make him pinky promise you. he agrees. he kisses your ring finger, where a precious gold band sits snugly, a reminder of his love and the years you have spent with the other.

oooooo i've definitely talked abt this in my RIN BF HEADCANONS before, but i will always stand by the fact that his primary love languages are acts of service, gift-giving and his RECEIVING love language is touch :(

he loves doing things for his s/o and he likes to go out of his way to show his dedication to you. you're different from every other lukewarm dipshit, and he really wants you to know that. as much as he'd love to shower you with flowery words and affection, he's just not one to be like that, so instead, he does things for you that you'd appreciate.

your car needs more gas? rin's on the way to do it for you, don't worry your pretty head about it, it's on him <3 you feel way too tired after a long day? c'mere, rin's running a bath for you. sometimes he joins, other times he just sits and helps you wash lol. you're running late? chill out, rin just let you sleep in for a little longer. he's got your coffee and breakfast all prepped, just do the rest of your morning routine and trust rin !!

he does these things because he knows you'd do the same in return.

and look, i wrote a whole ass fic on rin's gift-giving love language, so i'm not about to expand more than i already have bc that fic... WHOO is anyone else feelin' weak...

now for receiving... yeah. definitely physical touch.

i think i've talked abt this before but rin was shown to be holding a pillow whenever he watches scary movies. JUST... IMAGINE THAT IS YOU. CANNOT GO BACK. will REFUSE to watch a horror movie, or just any movie, without you there to at least hold. sucks for you because you're kinda forced into watching all these films but not really because rin's right there for you lol. loves it when you're there with him. if you get scared easily, he revels in the fact that you can find comfort in him. if you don't get scared easily, rin hugs you tighter whenever there's a high-tension scene coming. either option he adores, just as long as you're in his arms.

love language of touch as in brushing his hair with your fingers, welcoming him home with a kiss on the cheek, cradling his face when he's exhausted, letting him hide in your neck when the world gets too mean, playing with his fingers- he adores all of it.

because of my rescue cats, and because Reo's rich, please think of this with me.

Reo wanted a pet, so he was given a cat. some high pedigree, beautiful, insanely expensive kitten from high breeding and luxurious fur. a beautiful proper 'mew' and very graceful. probably has a diamond studded collar or smth too.

enter, you: the love of Reo's life, whose cats come with none of that. the first time he meets your cat, your baby, it's a bit of class whiplash to his face. He didn't really think about how "top tier" his darling cat was, he basically thought "cat's a cat"

Until your cat, who's just a big, orange striped, kind of wonky looking cat you found on death's door after being abandoned with a broken back that was untreated and healed Wrong, torn up ears, health complications, can't jump, wobbles harshly as it walks, and sounds a bit like a broken honk instead of a meow.

For some reason Reo goes from down bad to down worse. Seeing you with this poster cat for 'mangy stray that's been kicked too many times' and proudly introducing him, like this is your greatest treasure, with far more lasting love than all the jewelry he's gifted you, makes him love you even more.

admittedly, i've been a little selfish bc i wanted to let this ask marinate itself in my inbox so i could cherish it forever and keep it in here when i inevitably respond to it... but it's time to share this thought with everyone :,((( more comments in tags anon !

no bc this thought is so... beautiful. the very clear divide between your lifestyles manifesting through the damn cats you own. that's not to say your situation is dire or anything along those lines, but anyone- compared to reo, could look far off. especially this cat that you are now holding in your arms.

he's in your apartment after coming back from a date, hoping just to hangout and watch a movie or something when he meets your cat. the purple-haired hasn't ever seen it before, only knowing that you got him from a shelter when it was around seven years old - older than most pet owners get their cats. it's... beat up to say the least, and reo frowns just thinking about what it must have gone through to end up with a partially scratched off ear, a limp, and as many health complications as you told reo about.

but clearly, none of the cat's complications matter when it mewls happily, brushing against your legs. it's with a coo that you pick it up, cradling it in your arms, showering it with undivided love and affection as the cat similarly leans itself into you, so trusting and vulnerable in your warmth. it begins purring the second you scratch behind its ears.

reo feels his heart squeeze at the sight, rendering itself utterly helpless to your charm and kindness. he knows how hard it is to get a cat to trust people, even as kittens, so he can't imagine how many hoops you had to jump through to get a grown cat to love you back. the journey could not have been easy, especially with how rough this cat's life has been.

it feels like 6 out of 9 of them have been used up, but reo feels warmed knowing that at least it'll have an incredible 3 with you.

he knows because even though reo may not have 9 lives, you make his one feel indescribable.
